I've never dabbed myself. I'm so curious to do it though.

How does it compare to a good flower joint?

Howdy howdy,

I've been learning how to setup my camera settings to adjust the light spectrum of the photos to correct the orange hue of the HPS lighting, and I've finally got it =)

They are LOVING the HPS, I'm glad I made the switch over!

Here's how they're looking as of now:

ALSO, I found a small pale seed in an American Kush bud I've been smoking recently, and am now trying to germinate it... I hope it pops! =)

Have a great weekend guys!

So there is ONLY perlite in your pot? Thats interesting, never heard of this method. How often are you watering?

Do some research on it: Hempy Bucket.

Hempy Bucket is a basic Passive Hydroponic style of growing. Basically you give the plants a neutral PH and extremely aerated medium to grow in, and provide a water reservoir in the bottom where they can ALWAYS drink from. Since most of the root mass is not touching the water, they are constantly supplied with fresh oxygen. Also for that reason, it's virtually impossible to overwater.
The Hempy Bucket method says that you must use nutes on every watering so it always has nutes for growth. You should also flush the whole system every other week as to clean the reservoir of unused nute salts.
The Hempy Bucket is time tested and proven. But nowadays people are often changing the Perlite or Perlite-Vermiculite mix for Coco, so they grow some awesome plants in Coco Hempy Buckets. If you have access to Coco you should probably try it out!

And yeah, in my pot I have absolutely nothing else than medium grain perlite. I put hydroton on the top layer to stop the perlite from turning green (normally algae).
I don't have easy access to Coco so I decided to go with 100% Perlite. With 100% perlite I water every 2 days. Flush every Saturday. (I chose this because I'm a bit of a watering freak)
Normaly Hempy Buckets have a 4:1 or 3:1 ratio of Perlite to Vermiculite. This reduces the need for watering, making it possible for a setup to be watered once every week (depending on pot size).

So, as you see, Hempy Bucket is a powerful hydroponic method with the simplicity of hand-watering.

I think it's quite genius.

Check it out! =D

Thank you! =D

I love photography and movie making. It's quite a shame that I can't make these photos "more public". Because these plants are my favorite models, for sure!

My current camera is a Canon EOS 7D. I use a 17-85mm Canon Lens. And for the close-ups I use an extention ring that changes my focal lengths and makes it possible to take pictures in VERY high detail!

Also I color correct and adjust the photos in Photoshop before I post them.

Glad you enjoy them! Means alot!

oh man gotta try it hahaha! I've been smoking weed for over 30 years an dabbing for 6 months. Concentrate oils are like turbocharged weed, THC level can go as high as 93% or higher. The high is instant and hits u hard.

Sounds like some heavy hitting shit! I'm high out of my mind right now from some high quality bud, and I can't even try to begin imagining what that high would be like xD xD xD

Yeah, you've got good pictures on your grow as well man! Good stuff! And yeah, she's changing a little every hour! I've never seen plant growth like this before! I'm used to growing tiny bonsai like plants which take forever to strech out. And now they're just jumping! It's an amazing thing to see!

Wow... I'm freakin out xD

:eyesmoke:

Right on looking good! I agree, the quality of the pictures it great :-) Thanks for sharing!

Haha, thanks for stopping by! Keep coming back!

And yeah, I also thought it might be a bit too much, but I made it work =) It's well hidden, and nobody wants to dive through the "rubble" to get to the back of that little room xD

Hey all,

The babies are coming along, and by this time I maybe shouldn't be calling them babies anymore... =P
They are loving their constant nutrient solution. Only the Sleestack seems to have overnuted as of now, with a slight yellowing of the bottom leaf tips. Next watering shall be a thorough flush for them to relax a bit.

I was thinking I was going to switch to 12/12 on the 6th of this month, giving them only 3 more days to grow out a bit. But my girlfriends thinks I should veg them longer...

Should I let them grow out some more? How much more time would you say?

Also, my computer died on me, so my settings for editing my photos and my fonts went with it. I'm using my laptop now, so expect a slight difference in the editing style now.

Anyway, here are some photos!

Thank you! =) Finally my stuff is all together and I am finally having a better run than before. Hope it keeps going as smoothly as it's been so far! I'll wait a few more days then. I won't be waiting for them to get to 12 inches, but I will wait a little longer for them to give me some more bud generation power =P
