People would want to aim at least 30-70 grams per auto and I've seen grows with about 120g harvest (autos) although the lights that were used were really strong and powerful

What about light spectrum? Will it need adjusted?

Mine has a switch that turns it from veg to flower. Other panels have a mix or you can order to your specs.

for the price i would get a mars II from http://www.lgledsolutions.com/ contact them they will custom make your led they use 5 watt diodes at about 70% so you will get a full 3 watt output from each. they make them in the usa/uk/au and china. depending on the model is where they are made. ive seen a grow with them and they rock. you can get up to 11 bands if you want. i would do 8 bands plus ir/uvb also. use that for flower/bloom then get white/blue for veg.

Can you explain what I need as in bands etc.. ultimately I want an led that can be my one and only light source which can beat a 600w hps/mh combo. thank you

Only thing I can recommend is what I've used, Area 51. You would need two of them for your floor space.

You should try the LED threads for recommendations. It's a sub category under Indoor Growing. They have a lot of threads on different models and comparisons.

I've seen some top 5 threads over there that narrow down the best vendors and products.

Nope, just need something for fresh air replacement and odor control if your are concerned about that. My system kicks on and off hourly for a few minutes to purge the closet. Super efficient and stealth.

What wattage does your area 51 replicate? Someone posted this lg-led in another thread that looks wicked. 280 watt usage but outputs stronger than a 400w hid

if you are rich buy the a51 if you are like me go with the lg-led mars II. they have 3 diff sizes and will make them custom for your needs. like if you want just bloom led or an led to take you start to finish. i dont recomend that. get one for veg adn 2 for bloom then you get the max out of your led and for each true watt of led you get over 1 gram of dry weed.

So could you give me a link to what you think I'd need to buy? I wasn't thinking about 2 bloom 1 veg to be honest.. like I mentioned I'm looking to grow 4-6 plants at a time. . At most 8.. thanks

Okay, and you think I should only do one of the big ones for bloom or go for two?? Once the plant is in the bloom stage I should take out the veg led? Sorry a couple videos I've seen suggested keeping both lights on and just shortening to 12/12

i would have 2 lights 1 for veg blue and white lights only. then have 1 light for bloom so your panel will produce bigger thicker buds. if you get one that does it all you are really only getting 1/2 the required amount the light they need.
