I've heard of peole growing with nothing but an HPS for everything with good result, so i dunno. But i'ma make sure I get good coverage with the CFL's as well though so it should be ok. I think

Really? How many plants, lights, watts? I still plan on using a lot of the CFL's for flowering along with HPS, make those bitches bushy!!

They are looking even better today!! You can kinda see it in the pics on 117 but the 3rd plant actually has its first set of five point leaves!!!! I'm fuckin stoked!!
I'm going to water tonight, i'm adding some Hydrogen Peroxide to the water. Maybe that'll boost some of that root growth, but what else could i do to drop the PH about 1.5-2. It's high 7s now. I want to get it atleast in the 6's.

the first time i just grew one plant and i cant remember how many lights i used i think 6 27 watt cfl's and it grew tall (not enough light)and the second time i grew 3 different plants two were good bag seeds and the other one was spoetnik #1 from paradise seeds with 4 42 watt cfl's 5 27 watt cfl's and 2 4ft floro tubes and all three plants grew into an inter tangled bush.(i have pics)

So I have two questions.
1) Now that the plants are showing growth, should i put them on 24/7 for a little while?
2) I need to get my PH down about 1.5-2. Its sitting in the high sevens so i need to do somethin! I'll be watering in 3 days or so depending on light schedule. So cant i add lemon juice or vinegar? Something easy, and i can measure the solution pre watering.
Also i watered today with tap water left out for 2 days w/ 3% H202
(hydrogen peroxide) as i have read this can help roots tremendously. seeing as though there was poor root development i plan to water with this solution every other water until plant get about 6 in or so.

Ok, I have a PH tester/moisture tester/light meter from Lowe's. Where can i find PH down? do i have to order it offine?
Ok give me a few min and i will get some pics up.
but for starters I have switched to the new soil and i have watered twice, the day i moved them and yesterday. The first time i was nothing but tap water that was just shy of 7 Ph. Yesterday i watered with the same water but added hydrogen peroxide. 3% h202 (about 30 ml/gallon) they have embraced the h202 happily and perked up greatly (the youngest seedling actually has 5 point leaves! they are under 12 26w 6100k cfls now under 24 hrs light. * which i think they love right now* i have a large fan and a cool mist humidifier in the cab.
Anything else just ask!!! Thanks for coming into my world!!

Ok first things first!!! At first glance at cujo I thought the bones where his turds!! My thoughts, damn dude dont even clean up the dog shit, and wow what huge turd for that lil fella!!!
Ok on the plants, I think we should get db in here to get his thoughts! but to my not so experinced eyes the yellowing makes me think a lil bit of nute burn.. are you running nutes yet? dont think ya want to be if ya are... your ph should be 5.5 to 6.0, I have to order my ph up and down online like so much of the shit I need. again we need to get db or tetra, any number of guys here who know there shit.... btw I like the setup!

Na the nute burn lookin shit was from when the plants went chlorotic*?* you can see it in the pics on post 117. just using tap water and just added h2o2 for watering every other time. Yeah my ph is way to high. Its in the high 7s so i need to do it quick.
Man if they came in here i'd poo myself. Lol na it'd be great but i'm still small time.......haven't hit RIU stardom yet....just give me like 2 months and i'll have my 15 minutes.

I think they look a lot better. Isn't the yellow and burnt parts just the damage from before the new soil? But just do water for a little longer or some thing with 0-0-0.7 to 0.01-0.3-0.7 at 1/4 strength.

Its just going to get better once i get this light too! and its already in Jacksonville, shit it's 6 hrs away! I'll get it monday though cuz of the 4th.

I think they will be looking pretty good here in a week or so, and i do believe it is. The perlite was MG *only kind i could find* and it had plant food in it so i'm not using nutes until mid to late first week of flowering unless otherwise needed.
