So, I need some input. What is better for low maintenance? hydro or soil?

How should I divide the room?

Pretty much if you had the space what would you do with it?

Now mind you, I do not feel comfortable with shoving over 1000 watts in this room let alone 1000 watts. Was thinking a nice 600 watt HPS and some supplemental lighting to hit ALL spectrum's.. it's a common trigger for a knock at the door/raid.

Have at it guys. This will be your hard work in action!

Dude you are allready off on the wrong foot....unlessd I am interpreting you wrong. I am not going to waist a bunch of time becausde I BET, you know what you are going to do. First growe inside. It took me ten years to be able to take a 8 by 8 and guartee a super crop. Thats on a crap budjet all home made carbon scrubbers lights etcv. I could double yield with a few k in hydro top shelf gear

5x5 walled off with panda for flower, other 3x3 for veg 2x400 air cooled hoods in flower one 250 or some t5 for veg/mothers/clones 2x6in inline fans venting entire area 2x 6in carbon filter etc etc etc you better shit cash

I am running a heater thats 1,400 watts right now man. I have spoken to the electrical company. Call them and tell them your putting in a saltwater aquarium and you were wondfering what its gonna cost? play dumb. NO....PLAY DEAD

My advice...but your weed or go huge. Not worth the legal risk for a single 600 grow if you live in a shit head state

Oh yeah, forget the "supplemental light" bullshit. None of the high quality pro growers use any of that shit

I am currently working on upgrading my closet. I have been running a single 600 cooltube in a 40"x40"x90" for a while now. I am opening up the room to 6x8 and will have 2-600's, running a perpetual setup.

You have plenty of room to play with. Above all else, keep safety at the forefront.

i like urbans plan. Do 2 400w for flower and a 250w for veg. It will be just over 1k watts total

so are we to understand that the wattage limitation is simply for stealth reasons? like you don't want to run up an electricity bill? Or are you worried about overloading a circuit? as in you consider more than 1000w a fire hazard?--because this is not what you need to pay attention to, its amperage you want to look at for safety.

How much of a budget are you working with?

i use 600 watts in a 4x4 for flower in a shithead state and i promise it is plenty worth it for me and my family but each situation is different..

i do not have any and i mean any company and never sell bud, will gift it to very few people (actually 2) that i have known 15 years and we have all done much time in prison and never ran our mouths.- and still these people do not see my grow they may suspect but i always answer with nah my bro hooks me up from back home once a month or so.

my costs for good headstash bud not cash cropping shit is between 25-35 an oz compared to the beasters people pass off round here for 325-350 a zone.

Honestly bro it sounds like a severe case of paranoia! I'm in a "shithead" state and i run a fair amt of watts. Pay ur bill on time and in full and you have nothing to worry about! Think about it... space heater is 1500w, how many people use em for how long? Running one for one hour is like running 4 400w for that same hour.. if ur in the u.s. u have nothing to worry about just running 1k+ total watts as long as u can pay for it! Just my .02

Yeah but for me uber paranoia works well. I have no possession charges!!

But, I love urban's idea. Looking into 400W HPS and 600W HPS the 600W gives out more lumens but the dual 400W sounds good. I'm not trying to grow pounds of pot here. Just a nice decent stash for 3-4 people.
