You guy's this dude is desperate and he is going to chop them plants no matter what advice he gets. Makes me wonder why he even grew them just to chop early and get bunk weed.

Idk I abandoned the scope after the first year, it takes patience to wait, but you can visually identify when your plants are done, just like you can tell when a tomato's ripe. theres a sticky in the harvesting section on it.

First you talking about cropping, cropping is a complete different thing, that should be done in late vegetative stage !
Harvesting should be done when your plants are full of buds and cristals, if you notice that they stopped growing buds, cut the shit !! CHeers :leaf:

If you don't have a scope bro take a pic with your phone as close as you can get to the bud then use windows photo editor to enlarge the pic and you should see the tri's. Another way is to look at the hairs if they are brown(red) and receding into the calyxes then it is very close. Also look at the calyxes are they swollen? no? then not ready. Don't be too quick to chop because you will end up with bunk weed.
Good luck.

i've had 2 harvests so far and wish i had let both of them go a couple more weeks. the first one i was over anxious. the second i ceased nutrients too early and the buds plants were really nitrogen deficient, then i got anxious and chopped. the good news is that both crops were still really good smoke. i think an early harvest just makes the buzz a bit more jumpy rather than couch-locky(jumpy is better for me anyway). i think a good rule of thumb, for me anyway, is i am going to wait until i think i should harvest, mark my calendar and then chop it a week or two after that...

I need to know tonight if they are ready havnt got time to buy anything thats wh im asking.
Even if they are ready they're not going to go bad over night. Really you'd had 7+ weeks, you knew this was coming you should have picked something up somewhere.
