Help with choosing a Blackstar panel

Yo Dawg. What color temp did that panel have? Perhaps there is hope for flowering with my XGS after all? Maybe I just needed 2 of them eh?

thsi would be a shame if its true as the light claims to cover 3 x3 no problems... I have found them quite upfront with their details so surprised this would be so far out of whack...

I don't think they were dishonest at all. The light DOES cover a 3'x3'. I just doubt you'll get a good yield from using only 1 of them with no other light. Based on the growth I had at 3 weeks of 12/12, I predict that a skilled grower could pull about 5-6 ounces per harvest from a single XGS-190 over a 3'x3' canopy.

Obviously, we'll start to see more results as other XGS owners catch up to where I am with their grows. And once again, don't take what I say as hard science by any means. Everything I've said is based on my own brief experience as an XGS owner.

Yodaweed I have a question on the ion8. It's advertised as 1546w LED panel with UVB. But at the bottom of the web page it says the actual wattage draw is 405w, is this correct? For $2149.00
that seems like a lot of money for only that many actual watts. Please chime in brotha.

Not sure cause I have the 4 slot ion 8 (426w)that's a different one. This thing works amazing I will get at least half a pound from this harvest.

Yeah, I'm loving how Yodaweed and Gaius have become "credible" figures on the boards as both have only recently joined, and neither have yet to shared a picture of their grows.
Both seem to be pretty anti A51, but to varying degrees, almost like a good cop/bad cop routine.
I smell something fishy and it's not the seaweed I fed my girls today.

I have nothing against A51 I am actually interested in this new light they have coming out in a few months I heard it's going to be white and red spectrum like the SGS. I am just not a fan of the XGS lamp.

So I just ordered a 300w panel from Ledgrowlightmanufacturer off ebay:

Also ordered a Secret Jardin 2.5 DR60 2x2x5.6 tent. The ebay wholesale dealer replied with the following:

You can hang the light 40-50cm above your plants. The light just can cover 0.4-0.5 square meter area.

So that's approx 16-20in from the canopy which covers 4.3-4.4sq ft, so according to them I should need only one for a 2x2 tent.. just want to see what you guys think, should I get another one?

Dude I have a secret jardin and it is nice but the DR60 is tiny man, I have the L120 lodge and it's really small...I would get a 120 at the smallest unless you're trying a stealth grow.

Yeah man, I saw a few grows with the DR60 and they are super skinny but I thought good enough for 2 plants, just a personal grow. If I get another tent in the future for a perpetual setup, it will defiantly be at least 3x3 and I can use the DR60 for a mother. Can't wait to see how these lights yield, if they're crap, it won't be too much of a waist since they're cheap!
