The fundamental problem is that the government keeps devaluing the dollar as it is good for government but horrible for the people.

Your solution will increase inflation and decrease the value of the dollar even faster.

We had a higher standard of living in the past because the dollar was stronger in relation to all other currencies and we could buy more.

You assume the entity that created the problem with borrowing and excessive spending has the solution by forcing people to pay other people more money regardless of market forces and yet you tell me that I have a problem with reality.

You have a problem with economics, history and cause - effect.

Why work for $7.50 an hour when you can become an electrician or a plumber and with no education easily make a 6 figure income within 10 years as long as you apprentice and learn your shit.
