I donate to charity. It is voluntary. By coercion and under threat of duress I must give to Obama who then gives to others and takes the credit for his "kindness and compassion".

Makes me sick.

And speaking of duress, about 8 months ago I was sent an extremely sensitive and involving 25 page survey demanding I reveal my personal and farm characteristics, and assets amongst other stuff, by the USDA guised in the form of "USDA Census of Agriculture." They asked questions I wouldn't even divulge answers to my doctor or a priest in the complete privacy of their domain. I refused, got 4 of them each one threatening me in red to comply on the front of the envelope -

U.S. CENSUS OF AGRICULTURE REPORT ENCLOSED
YOUR RESPONSE IS REQUIRED BY LAW

Overdue: Return within 10 days

"Your voice, your future, your responsibility".

Got threatened with fines. I never complied. Last week got another such survey by the Feds. 2nd one received a few days ago with another threat.

Time to say "fuck you" to these people.

Yes it is time to tell them to fuck off. These kinds of programs are sold under the guise of safety and are backed by people that do not want you to raise your own food or have any independence tendencies lest the other slaves get uppity and start thinking they can escape too. I have some stories about resistance, but will decline airing them here. It involved a very hearty "fuck you" I was able to personally deliver to the dipshits.

Rob, my favorite was the government had an ordinance you couldn't plant in your front yard even though that's the only space available. The neighbors didn't like it implied their area was so poor the only way to survive was to grow your own food. Growing your own food means you're poor?

Some people like to run others lives. Often they find government jobs that allow them to compensate for their small genitalia and low self esteem.

A person that can create food is a rich person. While I don't think there is a particular way that a "collapse" will manifest, it is not unreasonable to learn how to feed oneself and family rather than become part of the herd. I am not a fan of cities, as they are potential graveyards in desperate times.

There are cities in California that still forbid vegetable gardens in your front yard.

I own an apartment complex in the Bay Area, some of the tenants wanted to co-op a garden on the side of the complex.
When they brought the idea to me, I told them as long as it was taken care of and looked pleasant to the eye, I had no problem.
Sad to say, the city disagreed and hit them with a myriad of regulations and compliance issues, including plans that had to be drawn by a landscape architect.

So the question is, who really owns this property?

Can you give some examples of these heinous infringements on your privacy the surveys wish to divulge?
Perhaps you are over-reacting?

Are you talking about Londonfog who partial quotes people to insinuate someone is racist? And the fact the mods don't do shit about it too? After mentioning it several times? Yet will get their panties in a bunch over saying faggot or bitch. I'm white and Londonfog is black. Sounds like this site is racist? What's your opinion? I'm a very nice person, but enough is enough.

i wasn't aware that canada had a libertarian party..
There are alot of things you are unaware of. Big "L" is the politics. Small "l" is the philosophy. Politics is the act of one group wrestling for control over people with another group.
I don't advocate doing that. You should control yourself, but not others. Now go put some skin cream on and leer at the paper boy.

Nope, wasn't talking about him in particular. I wish him well, but that doesn't mean I share his beliefs. I think black and white is a diversion and doesn't mean a person is good or bad. I'd rather focus on an individuals actions, although I am partial to breasts and can be manipulated that way.

I don't think race exists, anymore than blue eyes makes you white, even though the first blue eyes came from the Red Sea. But when you tell someone nicely to quit their libel actions, one should have the courtesy to not infringe upon that person's character any longer.

Many Solomon Islanders have blond hair and dark skin, especially the kids. Racial differences are interesting, but under the skin I agree we are all just people, some good, some bad and some lacking in courtesy.

My fiance and I make a combined pretax total of 95,000 dollars (USD) and we are by no means rich. I couldn't imagine living on minimum wage which is $7.25 hr where I live.

I guess those who can't should get a trade or education so they can live comfortably.

Well as usual you are wrong. Solomon Islanders are for the most part Melanesian, with some Polynesian too. Although we may look black to you cracka, we ain't.

Special rights? Do you mean the kind where a person is deprived of the right to determine what they will do with their own property ?

Why do you think it is anybody's business what people do with their private property? Isn't your body your private property? Are you a racist AND a prohibitionist too?

In your usual seeing one side of the equation way, you think by legislation that forces people to associate you are encouraging "fairness", yet you fail to see the unintended consequences of forcing people to give up property rights. Also, protection of property rights is not a protection for just one race, people of all races, genders etc should always be able to determine what they will do with their own body and property wouldn't you agree?

The CBO came out and said that a minimum wage increase would cost America at least 500,000 jobs. The Obama administration came out and declared the previously lauded organization as not knowing what they are talking about. I guess the CBO is only right when they put out information that is beneficial to Obama.

hmmmmmm, let's see if we can find you contradicting you.

CBO calculates whatever they are told to making assumptions that are simply not likely to happen.
yep, there it is.

dumb hypocrite.
