Cicadas are all good, just a white noise to me now.

Never vaped aussie, what's better, bong or vape?. is that a good quality one you just scored? I'm keen to get a decent one because I'm sick of nasty tasting bongs.
I fell down this outdoor kiwi rabbit hole, and i'm neither - haha. But being as i'm enjoying a good vape this second, I thought id chime in. 7th Floor Productions, San Francisco CA makes the highest quality, best value vaporizers, imo. Once you vape, smoking?.... tastes like a charcoal briquette. Vaping is hot air though, so I run mine thru a bubbler. Cheers, m8s.

Somewhere around west coast king country north island.
We're getting high as night temps like 20 degrees, high nighttime temps are good later in the season. Probably 7ft+ by now man, Panamas probably close to 6ft or more.
Yeah same bro, only those dead yellow ones.

Goldy, no ceiling for height and high lol. Yeah most of the country gets pretty cold in April apart from BOP and Northland.
What's your latitude? it can be grown up to 43 degrees. It's going to be a knock out stone for sure, the breeders say it's the strongest plant they've come across. The highest grade Malawi cobs in Malawi can have effects similar to acid.
Effects similar to acid....?
So you've never had acid, then?
There are NO strains of cannabis that cause similar sensations to acid.
And it's a bit of a giveaway for anyone to even make that comment.

Hey bro ck na sprays stil not doing alot works for a couple of days. Is it too late for neem u rekn?
I had what looks like thrips as well as aphids. I checked them with a 60x scope to be sure. I only had google images to compare them with but they looked very similar and were starting to cause damage. I also had spider mites. I can't believe how unlucky i am. This is indoors in veg. NEVER BUY MR.COCO BLOCKS.

I tried safe spray from canadian xpress which was a total rip off. 500ml of $18 premixed crap that lasted two sprays and the mites were still crawling around.

I got this other stuff called agrimec which seems to work well for the mites, no sign of movement at all and it apparently it stays in the leaves for a couple of weeks.
It was only $16 for 150ml and i only needed to use 10ml for 500ml of water.

I also got the yates confidor packets which has worked for the suspected aphids and thrip infestation.

I would die if i found them in flower. I've never had pests on previous grows.

There's alot more of them this year. I had a broken window in my bedroom for most of the summer last year and they didn't wake me up. I have to go outside with a broom to get them off the tree. I tied a rope to the tree so i could shake it through the window without having to get up but the bastards only fly away if i'm there with a broom.

Little update:

Went and watered/fed my plant everything's looking algood. Pulled more balls of etc. Buds are starting to get a tiny bit of frost but barely anything, pretty much hairs its only been flowering female parts for 2 to 2.5 weeks now but male parts since 3 to 3.5 weeks. Its around 6ft tall or just a bit less so far. It doesn't actually have alot of smell at the moment but it smells like fresh pine and the hairs are really thin.

Sorry I got way to keen on pictures lol How do I enlarge them?

Ive noticed quite alot of yellow or partly yellow leaves Im wondering if its a N deficiency? Its just the lower leaves and upper fan leaves changing color a bit. Some are from lack of light but yea I dunno what do you guys think? Ill attach some pictures. The rest of the plant looks fine though, like the flowers and new leaves.

Yellowing and light greeny color.

im feeling your pain. i had years of never getting a single pest inside. right now im fighting white flies and thrips. buggers are so hard to get rid of because i dont like treating them in flower and because i have different rooms in different stages of growth i can beat them in one space but they just spread from another. its pissing me off. i think i have them now

Hmm you've obviously never talked to old timers who have been to Malawi, the best cobs over there are known to produce hallucinations.
I've had acid but have never been to Malawi to experience they highest quality cobs, I talked to an old school aussie guy who has smoked all kinds of african strains over there that will change your whole perception of a high but he said he couldn't get even 10% of the original strength grown back in Australia.

Who are you to say no cannabis strains can produce psychedelic hallucinatory effects? Have you smoked every cannabis strain known to mankind?.
It'll be interesting to see how strong it gets over here opposed to aussie.

Why do you come onto a NZ outdoor thread being all cynical and have nothing else to say? ease up mate.

That must suck to fight it in flower. I don't know what i'm gonna do if they come back in flower. I'm reluctant to switch to 12/12. I want to let an insect bomb off in my grow space to sterilize so i don't get another infestation but i'm not sure if that'll even work. I know they came from the coco though and not from outside.

i have actually been so stoned i have had hallucinations, its just not like you see a dragon walk into the room or anything though its more just when you lie down and close your eyes you see wicked colours and patterns that move and shift and change shape. its like a technicolour laser show or something.

I am an old timer.
I've used 7 or 8 different kinds of mushroom, loads of acid and virtually every type of cannabis (herbal and resin).
But the reason I know that NO cannabis causes effects remotely similar to LSD is because I understand how different substances work on the brain.
LSD and Cannabis are completely different chemicals, that work on different receptors and, ergo, effect the senses in very different ways.

NO STRAIN OF CANNABIS IS HALLUCINOGENIC
It's that simple.

Bullshit doesn't respect national boundaries.
Neither do bullshitters.

That's why I chose to confront you and the misinformation you attempt to circulate.

Read CLARKES Cannabis Ethnobotany
Read Huxley
Or choose to repeat (no doubt with embellishment) the memories of 'old timers'.

In my experience the only people who compare the very mild visual distortion that certain Sativa's can provoke
with actual hallucinations
are people who have never had real hallucinogenic's.

They also over emphasize the idea of complete breaks from reality (Dragons walking into rooms, etc_)
because they cannot relate to the changes of perception that acid causes.
Without experiencing it, you could never hope to imagine it.

Ok I need some urgent advice, I noticed a while ago some of the buds were getting brownish on some parts and today I checked and its really bad, its affecting alot of the bud, some much worse than others. but every bud had atleast a little bit (the big ones anyway). They don'2014-02-25 09.26.21.png2014-02-25 09.26.44.png2014-02-25 09.26.30.png2014-02-25 09.27.35.pngt smell good anymore because of it, is this mold? If this is bad im gonna have to take her down right now to save it but I want it to go for 2 more weeks.

Everything is going good, vine hoppers are ok and are slowly fading.

Malawi 6-7ft

Panamas have finally regained their health and have half the vine hoppers since last time.

Red pheno!
a hopeful green pheno.

All 3 Panama are females with 2 confirmed red phenos.
Wow, they are tall and beautiful! Wish they would grow like that in the UK; the sun and the UK had an argument and it went over to the other side of the world instead.

Honestly shut the fuck up now, get off you're high horse mate. I'm only talking 0.001% of all cannabis that can produce frightening hallucinogenic trippy experiences, until you've been all the way through Africa and smoked every high grade cob like a person I know then you can come back and tell me and I'll listen to you but all I see now is a snotty nose person behind a keyboard who knows everything. Hey I've never had proper hallucinations from bud either!, "can have effects SIMILAR to acid" not EXACTLY.

He said it was a needle in the haystack finding bud like that in Africa/Malawi but it IS there to be found.

I also tend to trust legendary old school aussie growers who know the Cannabis spectrum far far better than you mate. He's modest about the strongest strains on the seed market, like Ace Malawi he said wasn't anywhere near as strong as the strongest in Malawi. Now all I can tell is most people get completely destroyed by Ace Malawi, ridiculous stuff like having a hit and then waking up on the ground.

vitually every type of cannabis? you make me laugh child. unless you're a vampire who has lived for hundreds of years.

Damn I just posted a big reply to everyone but my internet is shit so it didn't work.

Budrot JTW pull it now while you can otherwise you'll come back tomorrow or the next day and everything is gone. only leave the small buds that have little chance of mold. It sucks man but when you get budrot it's usually a sign to pull them. there's nothing you can do about it. are you home now? go to your spot right now and pull everything that looks like budrot or anything that looks like it's going to get bud rot. Sorry to hear about this man.

Cheers Ilyaas, Move to NZ and grow yourself some giant sativas . I bet it's cold over there now?. I probably don't even know what cold is lol.

Plant's looking good LT, maybe a mag def?. Nitrogen is only minimal in flower so it could be something else.

Anyone ever had Auditory hallucinations?.

Damn thanks man. should I pull off all the budrot when I hang to dry? Can it spread while drying if I leave it? Cheers

all good bro. yeah everything that has it or looks like it's on the way - you can tell because it goes all soft. Leave all the hard popcorn nugs on there to finish off.
Shit yeah man, you can lose a whole crop in a night when it's wet as. Get some nice air flow through the drying room and a dehumidifier if you can. Budrot can easily spread but it seems to be dry today and tomorrow. What strain is that again?.

get a decent hygrometer too man. I find metservice to inaccurate up here in the valleys where I live.
on average the daytime temps are hotter up here by 2 degrees and is also dryer up here too. .4 degree warmer up here last night.
