It must be hard to bring yourself to cut things off her when she looks so healthy and beautiful. She's still a beauty after cutting, though.
Thanks, D! It was difficult to see her catch the other so quickly.
This one is a mystery. I KIND of know what to expect, but this strain is relatively new. I haven't seen anybody grow it yet. I am making so many changes at the same time that I don't know if the improvements in the lighting are additionally responsible for her short nodes, or if it is ALL in her genes. Those nodes make this shaky man very nervous when pruning...lol. I have to use the tiniest of Fiskars, brace my arm, take a deep breath, and pray.

Can't wait until you get back up and running again. You should be enjoying the fruits of your labor soon, no?

Willomena is pulling up the rear. She was doing well enough that I could ditch those fan leaves.

And after...

now, let her recover a couple of days and start directing her where I want. Notice a pattern here? Best to pause in between steps to avoid too much stress on the plant at one given time.

So far I chopped the branches and hung them up. When I get a chance I'll trim off the bud leaves and save them for making canna butter. Looking forward to smoking some bud soon.

Put Your Glasses On
LOL - I think it depends on the timing. The images were fine in the morning, and somewhere during the day, SOMETHING happened. I edited the post to include them again this morning, but I DO remember something about him being blind and using braille to check his leaves ;-) Just bustin' your chops, Dave -

Added a couple of de-globed Cree LEDs. If I pull the bungee cord, the fixture will hang vertically between the two plants. Special thanks to The Dawg for pointing me in the right direction with my LED bulb questions!!!!

Now that's neat. I want do something like that for side lighting next time. Where'd you get the info on removing the globes? That's a funky-looking light fixture there. Was that recommended by The Dawg as well? Those are the 2700K 60 W Crees from Home Depot, right?
