Smokin in the girls room

Do you smoke in your grow room?? I'm afraid karma's gonna kick my ass if I do. Haa. Like slaughtering a cow right in front of its calf. Lol. I'm guessing it doesn't do any bad. Ive been tempted to just throw some bean bags in there and veg out for a few hours, just staring.

Truth is its not the smoking, its your presence thats the issue, bugs and fungi spores polluting the place, and yes I do hang out with my babes in there, but I don't need all the hassle of bugs and shit falling of me and into the plants is my worries...I do it,, but shouldn't !!!

Im usually just in there for a little maintenance and checking up on them. But as flower continues its more and more tempting to never leave the room. Your worries are valid, now you got me worrying. I never considered the transfer OFF my person.

I'm not super paranoid about cleanliness but I don't smoke in there because I don't want to shorten the life of filters. I'll vaporize in there sometimes though. I don't feel too bad. They're all destined for the same fate anyway... I like to think that plants WANT to be harvested and put to use for the intended purposes, especially when they have such history with humans and such synergistic qualities... yes, yes... they LIKE to be smoked... :joint:

I see some pros and cons, I blaze up then inspect my babes, or hide from the world for a few minutes, either way I'm giving the plants some C02, some plant maintenance, and many times doing this messing around in the grow room, I spot something that needs urgent attention, like Pm, or spider mites just starting out or some such!...but I confess it took some deliberate thought to mess with the girls then with the boys, rather than the other way around, and accidentally pollinate a female ....lol

There's some grow room rules you should follow.
-always being clean when you go into the grow room. (you can bring in a lot of stuff from out side on your clothes/hair.
-don't let anyone else in my grow room for that reason. who knows whats on them. especially if they are a grower too.
-No pets, they carry a lot of bugs.
-No clones from other people. You can get bugs from clones easy.
-Don't smoke in your grow room. The tar gets on the leaves of the plant.
-If you do smoke Cigarettes. Wash your hands good before going into the Grow room TMV, Tobacco Mosaic Virus.
-Keep your grow room clean. no leaves on the floor.

It's good not to have problems that can be avoided.

i smoke all the time in the same room carbon filter keeps the smell away.
i would just be carefull for people that smoke cigars there is some virus you can transfer with your fingers if you roll your cigarettes

Doesn't matter if you roll your own cigarettes, TMV can be spread by the residues left on your fingers from even smoking contaminated tobacco. As long as you keep up on your IPM visitors haven't caused me any problems.
We don't smoke inside so no i don't smoke in my girls' room.

When I was addicted to backwood wraps I would smoke 2 to 3 of them a day in my flower and veg rooms. Never noticed any issue but I do also have MERV11 HEPA filtration and carbon scrubbers going 24/7/365 so in a grow without air purification it could pose an issue but unlikely....

I've worked in 40 light grows and everyone is smoking lol
