Main and side branching is so long that I had to snap them, as well as train them using my cube

The problem with vertical (with this sat pheno) is, they quickly outgrow the lumen sweet spot

Were I to straighten them out, the plant would be ~ 7ft tall and I would not have a dense canopy.

Having done various soil types, IMO, there is nothing simpler than managing a well thought out rez

I combine 160 gph pump to circ 24/7 + pump for feeding + air stone discs under each pump + a few black magic tweaks

How is that easier than throwing some coco in a bucket and gravity feeding it every few days? Either way you still have to make water once a week to feed them properly. Shoot you can even get some blumats for your gravity feeder if you want to set up automatic feeding.

Hempy Hydro Pros:

  • Increased vertical height (most important of all)
  • Cheaper with far less equipment, no pumps/airstones, or additional electricity drain
  • No PH swings or real need for PH monitoring
  • Less chance of slime or root rot
  • No emptying or sanitizing your res
  • Less evaporated water & grow room humidity
  • Fail-safe against power outages and equipment failures
  • Use just about any type of nutrient (dry or liquid)

Recirc Hydro Pros:

  • Slightly faster initial vegetative growth.
  • Less chance of gnats/pests

I'd be happy to edit this list if anyone has other pros to either method that I missed...

Closeup of a C99 bud shot. This is just a side branch, but she's frosty. Pic was taken at 46 days of 12/12.

Day 48 of 12/12.

The C99 is looking like she can come down any day now. Trichs are cloudy with some amber. Started flush on day 46 and will continue to flush for 1 more week and then down they come.

Also, just transplanted my two C99 clones from their 1L air pots into the 2 gallon white hempy buckets.

The root development on them was absolutely amazing.

I really liked the ability to unscrew the air pot and easily place the transplant into it's new home. Apparently air pots really help reduce transplant shock.

I think I'll be using these for my clones for a while.

Another triumph is brewing.... :)

I might have to put that C99 on my wish list... Female seeds?

Yeah, this is from female seeds, however I just ordered a 10 pack of Mosca's C99 BX-1 as they just came back in stock on the tude and I've heard nothing but amazing things for Mosca's c99 bx-1.

I'm really wanting that pineapple pheno and with Mosca's C99 he's back crossed it a bunch to almost ensure you get it.

Plus Mosca's yield fairly well too.

However, the only caveat is they are regular beans, so I'll need to do some male weeding out.

Yeah, that birthday promo is sick. Kind of wished I waited, but I didn't want to lose out on the Mosca as I read somewhere the last time they came in stock, they went out super fast.

Already sold out. Glad I snagged em

Gonna chop the ladies down tonight @ 54 days. The C99's I have in veg are getting a tad too large and putting two in the box might be overkill unless I do some major pruning

I can't believe how much they grew since transplant which was just six days ago.

There sure must be a lot of truth to the lack of transplant shock when going from those air pots.

Thanks on UVB question. I am currently running Crystal, white widow x northern light, excellent ice under
4-3050's, 1.8 sf scrog. Does it appear blue widow scrogged a little better than c99? Would appreciate feed
back on smoke comparison. Stay safe.

I think they both did well in scrog. My next run is just a single C99 (planned for 2, but they got too big) that I vegged while flowering last grow and it's growing fast, so I'll know a little more this time around on the C99 scrog. The last grow was slightly hindered due to the low winter humidity and temps.

This next grow should rock just as the initial blue widow grow as the temps and humidity are perfect this time of year.

I really liked the smell of the C99 while trimming, so I'm looking forward to how it comes out post cure.

The Blue Widow is just so overpowering on the stench department, however it really makes some big dense nugs.

Just started germing 2 Mosca's C99 BX-1, cross fingers for at least 1 female.
