My question is: There are two plants,one light green and the other one dark green. The light green plant smells weed while the dark green one doesn't.They are of the same size and age. What's that about?

The camera wouldn't show the difference in color doesn't make any sense to post pics of poor quality. I can say they are healthy plants, about 40cm tall and they are of the same Top 44 strain.The dark green one, with little leaves in the area between stem and branch, doesn't smell weed. I'm a first timer but the one that is more mature doesn't smell and the less mature does. Seems strange What do you think?
