Any fish?

Hey i have a few plants and after i can determine the sex im going to transplant them into the ground...i'd like to use some fish bodies for some fertilizer to mix in with the soil....where would i go about getting these fishies? will any fish work?....thanks for the help!

You could just buy fish emulsion you thinking really old school like pilgrims the Native Americans would burry fish with their corn crop. Use compost or you can burry the fish let me know how it smells:mrgreen:

Bury the raw organic material, ie:fish . . . at the bottom of your planting hole. When the roots reach that depth, they should be able to use what's become of the fish. I've done this many times w/tomatos. The roots reach the fishheads just in time for the developing fruits to utilize the boost. American Indian thing. I use a couple of handful's of fresh mown lawn clippings when no fishheads are hanging around. Same principle.
Oh, this is an outside grow only thing.

don't actually...but I was thinking, if the fish was shredded or grinded it would decrease the overall surface area making it decompose faster, so maybe you would want to cut up some raw fish or take something like a salmon from a can and put it at the bottom of the planting hole.
