I wait till they look dead then scope calyxes. Burnt hairs tell me a lot.I think it is pretty hard to tell if a plant is finished by looking at a picture. I would seriously doubt that any plant can finish that quickly. I would wait a little longer. It will be worth it in the end. Give it at least 7-8 weeks. Personally I don't harvest anything earlier than 8 weeks. That is just my opinion though. The plant looks great! I imagine everyone will start bashing it because of it being a Strain Hunters/GHS strain.
What do the trichomes look like under a 60x to 100x scope?
Who needs a loop. Does the bitch look like she's dying with burnt up hairs?

Burnt hairs lol...they aren't burnt!
Tye three key factors to harvest time are...
1) Calyxes swell.
2) Hairs/pistils turn from white to orange to a dark reddish/orange brown and begin to receed way back into their respective calyx.
3) Trichomes are as close to being all Cloudy/Milky.
Clear trichomes = Immature
Cloudy/Milky trichomes = Mature
Amber trichomes = THC degrading to CBN.
Harvest when trichomes are 100% Cloudy/Milky,but that isn't really possible,so more like 90% Cloudy/Milky and 10% Clear or Amber.
The only way to get a real look at the trichomes is with a good 60x to 100x scope/loupe.
They're faster to trim/manicure but that's about it.
Regardless of size if plant a strain that truly finishes at 8 to 9 weeks will only finish within 8 to 9 weeks, unless there was some undue stress involved which can make them take longer to finish.

So if I can't trust the CC winning strains, who are some trustworthy seed companies?
