Is this ready for harvest? Pics included

Hello everyone,

I have a 5 and a half week old flowerbomb kush plant.
Apparently this strain is done in 5 and a half weeks but it is just small to me ?
The plant itself is maybe only 2 feet but I need you guys to tell me.
It might be hard to judge from the pictures but its the best I can do.

I think it is pretty hard to tell if a plant is finished by looking at a picture. I would seriously doubt that any plant can finish that quickly. I would wait a little longer. It will be worth it in the end. Give it at least 7-8 weeks. Personally I don't harvest anything earlier than 8 weeks. That is just my opinion though. The plant looks great! I imagine everyone will start bashing it because of it being a Strain Hunters/GHS strain.

I see a bit of amber and a bit of milky but its so damn hard to see anything with how small those microscope things are...

Tye three key factors to harvest time are...

1) Calyxes swell.

2) Hairs/pistils turn from white to orange to a dark reddish/orange brown and begin to receed way back into their respective calyx.

3) Trichomes are as close to being all Cloudy/Milky.

Clear trichomes = Immature

Cloudy/Milky trichomes = Mature

Amber trichomes = THC degrading to CBN.

Harvest when trichomes are 100% Cloudy/Milky,but that isn't really possible,so more like 90% Cloudy/Milky and 10% Clear or Amber.

The only way to get a real look at the trichomes is with a good 60x to 100x scope/loupe.

There is videos of arjan or whatever his name is saying it flowers in 5 and a half weeks. I am no expert by anymeans but it seems to say everywhere it flowers that quickly. I have a couple other strains in the tent and this one seems the most ripe. I feel like I waited to long on my last crop so I am a little scared with this one.
I wish they just made 60x magnifying glass that was the size of my head so I can actually see whats going on.

This may be a stupid question but do smaller plants harvest faster ?

They're faster to trim/manicure but that's about it.

Regardless of size if plant a strain that truly finishes at 8 to 9 weeks will only finish within 8 to 9 weeks,unless there was some undue stress involved which can make them take longer to finish.

Also go by the trichs on the calyxes...not the leaves. Hope this helps.

I'm currently in the middle of my first harvest and I am realizing that trichome development varies quite a lot throughout the plant. The tops were ready at 7 weeks while lower are still going to need the full 9. You really need a 60x scope or loop to know the right moment. I hear a lot of people refer to 5 weeks as the time since flowers appear not the chge to 12/12. So that number can be misleading.


Besides Arjan being a douche, why does everyone hate ghs & Barney's farm? I'm trying to cancel an order fm attitude over the bad publicity. how do they win so many Cannabis cups if theyre seeds aren't any good?

1) They pay big money for advertising

2) They pay off judges


Arjan is a douche because none of tge strains they sell are the originals.When Shantibaba left and sold his share of the company to Arjan,he took all the original stock with him.

A simple google search and reading would get you all the answers on that matter.
