...but...but...butI'm getting everything around and as I set the test variables a few things have come to mind. I've decided there has to be 4 plants.
Plant TDE-001: She will be untrimmed, left to grow natural. Code name: The Controller
Plant TDE-002: She will be our full blown, leaf and stem removal girl. Code name: Sinéad O'Connor
Plant TDE-003: She will be the first of two that will have her leaves trimmed in half and only have selected stems removed. Code name: Susan McKendrick*
Plant TDE-004: She will be trimmed just as plant 003 but I will be giving her different nutrients. The reason is; first in real life I only trim mother plants, and when I do I feed them different. For the test to cover all points I think this is necessary. Code name: Sharon McKendrick*
I would also like to hear any thoughts you all have.
This should be fun.
are you going to lift all 4 plants so the canopy is level at all times ?I'm getting everything around and as I set the test variables a few things have come to mind. I've decided there has to be 4 plants.

so you are saying he should lift the defoliated plants to get them closer to the light?are you going to lift all 4 plants so the canopy is level at all times ?
if you are, for the space used in the flower room, plant 3 and 4 are going to give you the best yield, but the The Controller will yield the most but take a lot more room, without the extra veg time Sinéad O'Connor needs you will pull a low yield
subbed
I agree. Kinda been my whole defense against defoliation. The extra time and energy and any extra yield(if Any) isn't worth it vs just doing a topping or supercropping her.lol @ sinead oconnor
no it's not fair. if you wanna do a totally unbiased test everything should remain the same
except for training pruning and the defoliation technique used.
and this goes for veg time too.
edit: and nutes

any plants you train should be lifted so the canopy is level, just think if you did a side by side UB topping vs untrained plant and did'nt lift the plants so the canopy was levelso you are saying he should lift the defoliated plants to get them closer to the light?
sounds like a really unbiased plan.
they should all remain on the floor at the same level. Only with differing techniques for pruning or defoliation.
trimming techniques need a lot of light (600w) 12"-18" above the canopy, any higher just isn't going to work so I now the results before it startseverything equal..except trimming techniques.
course we are trusting you to do this as it would be pretty easy to put bucket under them before and after pics
nah, that wouldn't have anything to do with one plant being healthy and the other, well, not, don't know where you get this info from.lol they would get the same light if you didn't hack them to death.
it's not the the undefucked plants fault they are bigger and stronger.
