Im pretty private in my own life as SOME will know..Ive harbored/stored my friends 355 n th400 n pool table n a(bbq) smoker and obviously snap on/matco/mac tools....few other things..I hate it because he is a LIFE long friend...hes been out just over a year n Jan... how do you..suttle hint/ed(pardon the hillbillyism) Ive hinted/told him straight over the phone whenever he is ready..its ready...IM waitin..he say this evenin or tomara... PEOPLE THINK...Your 25+year bestie...sad I know that word.:cry: Its just the lady he is with...and before u bash ladies...their just not good for EACH OTHER...enuf said.
 
When is the last time you had any sort of contact with him? As a last resort I would call him and tell him that he has until the end of the month to come get his shit, after that you're selling it. Plain and simple. I know you guys are "besties" but it looks like push has come to shove so it's time for you to tell him the come get it or its getting sold.
 
pack up the trannies and bbq in the truck and drive them over his house and drop them off in the front lawn if he doesn't answer the door and help you put them where he likes..
i like the drop the tail gate and nail it route myself, and let the shit land where it lands.. end of problem really..

oops, sorry, tranny, singular, i first thought it said 350 and 400th, my bad. . now i see it's a block and tranny.. i still say the old drop the tail gate and nail it job will get'er done just fine..
 
Its just fucking rude to sell your friends shit like that ...as per Racerboy pack it up and drop it off, when his women is out, tell him you need the room, the real question here is who riding who,...?

But if you do sell it....you gotta give him the cash ...but hold some back for yourself...for the hassle
 
Are you able to contact him with email, or text message?
If so, Give him a notice to get the stuff at a reasonable time frame, or it gets trashed.
Be sure to keep the notice, and the response, in case he wants to start some legal crap.
... then sell it, and if asked, you threw it away.

if i'm picking up what he's putting down chew, dude's buddy left some crap at his house. i think his buddy might have been in jail and has now been out for at least a year, but i'm fuzzy on this part..
some of the crap left at his house is tool of the mac variety, a turbo-hydromatic 400 tranny, and a 355 c.i., not sure if it's a complete motor, or a short or long block or what, as well as a bbq and a pool table, and i might be missing some thing here or there..
anyhoo, dude wants to know what he should do with said crap.. that is all..

these are high dollar tool companies chew. LIke 150$ for a ratchet 250$ for a screw driver set. If you dont know what a 355 or th400 is then your on the other side of the fence here. Alot of peeps on here know Ive been a gm dealership mechanic for yrs..(20+) No offense. racer has got the jist of it...
 
Yes he went to prison...he has been out a lil over a year and Im hoping that is/was enough time to get back on his feet. but Im startin to feel like the kindness is bein mistaken for weakness..and thats bout where I pull out the sawzalls and torches....

Don't get it, as others have said, tell him you need the space and give him a week to come get his stuff or you'll drop it off on his doorstep. More than fair and curteous….
