I need some help in determining what is causing the lower fan leaves on one of my plants to turn brown and dry out. I have four plants going in a hydro setup, but only one is showing the problem. Today is day 27 (counted day 0 as the day I put the seeds in to germinate.) I moved the seedlings into rockwool (did the pH balancing thing first followed by a soak in Thrive Alive B1 Red), set in a 6in mesh pot filled with Hydroton on day 2 and had a constant drip of distilled water going the first week, while foliar feeding with a solution of B1 Green and Sugar Daddy. Week 2 I added BC Technaflora nutes at 1/4 strength (Boost, Grow, B1 Red, Magical, and SugarDaddy) with a fresh supply of RO water. Week 3 I went to half strength, again with fresh RO water. Week four I started them on full strength nutes, changing the water again and still using the RO.
All four plants look healthy as hell; just the one plant is showing the problem on the lower fan leaves. Grow chamber temps average around 80F with the lights on with 35-40% humidity, and drop down to around 75F when the lights are off. I have them under two 125w CFL's, with four 54w T5's mounted to the corners (running vertically) of the chamber. I have been keeping the pH around 5.8, and going by what BC Technaflora states the TDS should be 1100ppm. I'll be adding a ventilation system as well as CO2 this week (disabled, so having to do things a bit at a time.)
I looked through the really long post that had a description of just about every malady possible, but could not seem to pinpoint this. Any help in ID'ing the problem and developing a solution would be much appreciated. Only four fan leaves are affected right now (one in early stage) but I took several photos of each in the hopes it would make it easier for someone more knowledgable to tell me what is wrong.
