just take the new growth of the top, the tiny leaves at the top. Use your nails or some scissors, this encourages it to turn into a shrub that has more branches. Therefore (depending on the strain) you should get more bud! Good luck!

Just make sure you don't cut the new growth that is coming out on each side of that middle shoot that you will be cutting. At least that's how I prefer to make my cut. But that is the basic idea. Check the FAQ, or search this site for threads on FIM'ing, or Topping. Good luck. Otherwise that's a good lookin girl, maybe just a lil smaller then they should be. You giving them nutes, how much direct sun she gettin?

ok use the nutes for sure......as far as topping - if you know what your doing as far as growing in general not just as far as topping in itself, then topping is a good idea but if you leave the plant alone chances are a first or second time grower will yield slightly more and definately more compact better buds. also do to the way you have grown your plant thus far i would not top it.....but if you think you can do it and want to try then do it right when your area is going to start flowering in about 2 weeks, this will give you 2 or three tops which will grow about 3 or 4 inches and then start budding giving you 2-3 top large buds instead of one. just depends on personal preference i guess....:leaf:
