So I was looking around at lp websites and this is what I noticed

Canna Farms is at 20% capacity and have ceased accepting registration until summer.

Whistler Medical Marijuana Co is accepting 3000 patients starting March 1.

I find Mettrum to be very confusing. They've got this colour/number thing happening.

Cannimed seems to have 4 strains now with varying levels of thc

It will be quite the chore to figure out where to go with all the different strains to try. I'm glad I'm not jumping in right now.

I thought the same thing, until listening to the radio interview. He seemed shady as hell a few times when giving answers. All these "business background" weasels they let do the interviews that really don't know shit about cannabis itself, just irks me I guess.

That's a fair point. It is really going to come down to getting multiple prescriptions for short periods of time with the LP's in order to figure out which one is superior than the rest. Can't trust what any of them say otherwise.

There are many ways we can promote legalization, all are valid and necessary. We need to avoid the negative traps like being against Harper and instead be for Trudeau. You don't fight change, you fight for change. We need to be more careful about who we choose to represent marihuana too. seriously legalization the best thing for patients....? I highly doubt it....at best you mean in theory
the producer will grow only what will sell in most cases period.
so if your medical strain isn't one of them seller's ...then you will be out of luck.
I just see larger grow room filled with commercially viable crops....Lots of yield ,so so quality(mids) and the 4 sickly plants over there in the corner in the dedicated medical section.....(match patient to strain right...sick patient= sick plant....sprayed with who knows what) but realistically the patient market will be so small in comparison to the recreational market...that medical mj will take a back seat for sure.
once money is involved...its tainted.

legalization and home growing = safer medicine....
but lp's or store bought = commercially produced not possibly safe for consumption.

My vision of legalization is a little different from yours. I see ME growing IN MY HOUSE whatever strain I choose, pesticide free, and not paying anyone for it.

There is a possible danger to the medical community with full legalization. Patients have been going through hell in Washington State. The state govt there wants to end the medical program and have all patients just use the legal recreational outlets.
Price is the biggest issue, followed by strain selection, quality etc...

Well leaf you know as well as I do that as soon as the almighty dollar is involved all purity is lost. The whole system becomes adulterated. Cartels are perfect example of that. Legalization is the only way to end the madness. If it's legal, then I can help my sick friend up the street...maybe go half on some seeds, nutes, the power bill and they can help out when they feel up to it. That is a win win situation except for the government and now LP's.

Legalization doesn't necessarily mean you can grow it.
You have to define what legalization is.
I'm sure the legalization in Washington State is not what you envision legalization should be.
