First grow, Indoor. T5 cfl. Power flower fem.

I've used ffof from seed many times with no issues. But it all depends on the strain really and have never used autos.

From what I've read, it's better not to transplant autos if you can avoid it. So I will probably even try to germinate right in the soil too

Hello everyone. So it's looking good and healthy up top! The bottom half even has some great growth going on. Some of the big top leaves have some yellowish tips. Could this be the start of a Cal mag issue coming from the RO water? Input would be greatly appreciated! As always! One more question, a few of the bottom newer leaves are coming close to touching the soil, is this an issue? Thanks again everyone

Looking good man. Some good shoots coming in, I'd top her. Are these gem seeds or not sure if its a male or female? But ya I'd top that bad girl :-)

Thanks NON. As of now I do not know much about topping. I have been reading a little about it but don't feel very comfortable doing it just yet. Is their a certain time I'd need to top by? And this seed was feminized.

Most recent pics. Plant Is 38 Days old. Still some good growth going on. I did add the 2 5000k bulbs "75 watt, true wattage?" Is this still pretty early for those or should she still be fine? Also I added a pic of my setup as of now. The fan on the left is a 2 speed oscillating, right one is just a stand still one speed. Thanks again everyone!

I would say now is the perfect time to top her. Just pinch off the new growth coming in or cut the top off entirely. Up too you. There's plenty of threads on it. Don't be shy it would be beneficial in the long run!

I think I'll try my first top with my next set of plants. Should have them Auto's in soil by the end of the week :) if my timings correct the Auto and this Current plant should be ready about the same time. It's just gonna suck dealing with the different times schedules. Ones gonna be in 12/12 and the auto 18/6 once flowering starts.

Tellin ya you should top one ya got now I understand if ya don't wanna but ill never steer ya in the wrong direction. I can post some pics for ya if u want.

I understand completely, and some pics could Def steer me to top it if I feel comfortable. Thanks again!

Pics are from tonight. Day 40 from sprout. Still good steady growth happening. She was in need of water so I made the difficult decision to feed. I gave her a 1/2 gallon RO water with a 1/4 strength FF Big Bloom and 1/4 Calmag plus. Hopefully it wasn't too soon! Any thoughts would great. Thanks again

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what may be wrong with this plant. It is yellowing a bit and droopy. It is in a solo cup with organic fox farm soil. It really droops during the lights off cycle. I have two plants in a 18x14x36 grow space. One cfl per plant about 5 inches away. The other plant is doing fine but is also a different strain. Any help would be appreciated.

It does look very easy haha. Thanks for the video dude. I received my other beans today and decided I'm gonna plant a Auto Northern Light and a Fruity Chronic Juice fem. I'll Def start topping on the Juice once ready. This way if my newb ass does mess something up I'll always have a plan b. Once again thanks man. I never knew topping would be that beneficial.

I'm a newb too but it looks to me it could be over waterered, or it could just be ready to come out of that solo cup. I don't really know for sure. Here's a link to a forum that's really helped me out.

SO, I received my Northern Lights Autos yesterday and decided to try the cup method. I tried the paper towel/cup method with 3 big bangs a few months ago and none germed! I put the NL in a cup of RO water last night for 24 hours in a warm dark place. When I looked today it wasn't even remotely cracked open. I read not to keep them in water for longer than 24 hrs so I went ahead and planted. I put a pop top on it to use as a humidity dome.
