True, but with my first batch the new growth looked different between the males and the females. At the time I didn't know sex, But as I look back over my pics I see thing only one or the other did.

Ok so i hope that everyone is having a great 4th of July weekend! My GF's buddy ended up staying on Fri. night as well so it was almost two whole days before i could see my babies!!!

SO worth the wait!! I'm gonna do some mulling around the house and post some pics later.

BTW Bob-backwards is officially a dude. All the shit i was hoping to be new growth turned out to be pollen sacks. It seemed a little strange to think he'd show sex but he is over 65 days old!

Stay tuned because the other three are beautiful.

Bob is only 3 in tall, but i want to keep vegging him and throw him into flowering for a little while just so i can maybe get enough from him to make some tasty hash. Also i want to collect pollen as he was from a really good batch of kine bud. I don't know do you guys have any suggestions??

Mine opened at about 3/16" long and 1/8 dia. If there are only a few just trim with a razor. I think I put some pics in my journal. If not I ment to add some, I wanted to but I've been plus i made hash tonight.

Looking good blazin, there's no stopping them now. Be careful with BOB he does look to have balls but it's not easy to tell. I had some new growth that looked a bit like balls before they opened out.
It is small to be showing sex but, it's definitely old enough. The general rule i, they don;t show sex until you start 12/12 but half of mine are showing and they are only 5 weeks into veg.
Don't worry about the quick one being a male. I had heard that and have two plants that tower above the others. They both turned out to be beautiful girls. Oh yeah!!!

Hell, i'm thinkin of just throwing him in the back yard. Don't know yet though. I can't remember where i read it, but i guess plants show pre-flowers somewhere between 45 and 60 days.

Well atleast my three ladies are doing good at this point!

I've done that with mine, buried it out in the back by the compost heap.

If I get any more though I will have to stick them in the woods or somewhere. I walk my dogs every day so it's no problem checking them.

I don't think males really produce much thc not enough to be worth smoking but. I think you can use them for making hash, and seeds of course, (which is where the male expends his energy instead of making thc). Someone is bound to know. Don't take my advice, I'm still a noob.
The big risk with keeping males is pollinating. You could keep the male well away from your females but still pick up pollen spores and carry them yourself. Bit like a honey bee I guess. Especially if you're buzzing at the time haha.
