I want to build my own greenhouse and have some questions.

Hi

I saw this greenhouse and I'd really like to build it but I don't have any construction experience, and I was wondering if you think I would be able to build this greenhouse myself using internet: http://www.marijuanagrowershq.com/grow-like-a-pro-big-sluggers-outdoor-cannabis-garden/

On the web site it says that greenhouse is 4,000 square feet but it only fits 25 plants. I don't know if that is a mistake. I had always thought that you could plant one marijuana plant in one square foot. If it isn't an error, that means he gave 160 square feet to every plant. Is that greenhouse really 4,000 square feet?

How much do you think it would cost to build a greenhouse like that?

How can I learn how to build this greenhouse? Would I really have to hire a contractor to build it or could I do it myself?

How can I turn it into a CEA greenhouse? Could I build a separate room, install a an air conditioner and CO2 generator and connect the two rooms with tubing? Would I get better results using CEA?

Those look like prefabricated roof trusses. Check and see who does that near you.

Get a good cement guy to pour you a foundation (and a floor, if you want). Then build the walls and add the trusses and put on a roof.

Electrical and plumbing is pretty easy too but you should get help from a pro.

u can build a green house very easy

u just need the area.........the frame work........and clear plastic tarps

1 the land u will need to level it then grade it for draining
2 u need to set the lay out and place the footer for the beams to hold up the framework
3 u do the framing of it (this can be wood metal ......u can use kits or reclaimed items )
4 the plastic covering u just get a large roll and start laying it over and sealing it to the frame(anything with a seam u will have to close it with glue/heat)

and u are done ............redneck rigging u could have nice place for 5000 6000 (might not be pretty but does the job )..................doing it 100% correctly u are looking into the 10 12k range for that size

as for who to build it this all depends on your area your land and the laws ..............to build something like that odds are u need permits by the rules of your area and that means yes a contractor

if u are your own land like a Farmer with acres and acres of land then u can do it yourself with no real worry about someone coming up on the land seeing it looking at the records finding out it is illegal and forcing u to tare it down


and we were talking 4000 sq feet building not a simple little frame .........as for the amount of room the plants like it all depends on the strain u are growing the method of growing it and what u are feeding it

i had 1 plant take up 4x4x6 tent it could of gotten bigger...............so your best bet is to start small and work your way up do not try to fill the whole place at once the first time out ...............and if u do go that size u would want to stager it so u have plants flowering and cliping every 30 45 days

that baby is shown on youtube...the plants they grew went thru the roof...the trusses are on 10' centers..span is 40 feet..length is 100'
holes are 6x6...notice the 4x4 corner post/holds light to keep em in veg...water system is via res and injector nute job delivered via spray heads
30 plants 150 lbs bud...and a shit load of trim goodies
the grow was busted
