Scrog or not to scrog?

Hello there, fellow buddies!

Unfortunatly my first grow got thrown away due me moving to a new place!
so I'm ready to give it another try! :) I have been reading about this SCROG method + topping and it seems like a very decent idea.
But I don't know weather I should do it or not because I think my growbox isn't wide enough. It is 50cmx50cmx200cm (20inchesx20inx80in).

Here are some pics of my plant (Acapulco Gold, day 3rd after sprouting) and growbox (while the plant is young I'm keeping it in my PC case growbox, as soon as it gets bigger and ready for topping I'll put it in big growbox)

Yes, pinch them and train them out as best you can in your limited space. You'll get as many nodes as possible that way. Good luck!

I have another question. First time I used 125w CFL lamp, but this time I want to use HPS, I have 250w veg, and 250w flowering lamp. Do I need to use cooltube to cool them, or it is optional?

In a closet grow like that a standard HPS lamp will create a lot of heat. So you have to do something to deal with it. I don't know anything about cooltubes so can't help you there. I would set up your lamp in the closet before putting plants in and see what your temps do while you monitor it. I can't imagine a HPS that doesn't need significant ventilation but my lights are old enough that I may be behind on technology.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I guess I'll complete my largest growbox and monitor for a few day if I can get my needed temperature there! :) Thanks, dude!

So, it's been 11 days since my AG has sprouted, and today I topped it. Since this time I'm growing only one plant I wanted to know how else can I increase yield? Will bigger pot increase it (I have bought 15gal pot)? At the moment I'm using 3 cfl's, but as soon as I move it to other growbox I will put an 250w HPS, which should be enough for one plant, right?

Here are some pictures to see how my lady progressed last week:
Day 11

If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment :)

i go with l-e-d lights in a space of that size, you will be fighting heat all the time if not also just go for vertical growth, because scrog will fill that area

Get some small pcv pipe cut them to the size of ur grow area.drill holes about 2 inches apart around the pipe then string it up.when done u should have anought small squares in ur trillis .after that u can train the plant to fill the trillis.if done correctly u will end up with buds in each square.remember time is on ur side so take ur time

In the recent month my baby has grown a little, and I was thinking of installing a scrog in my growbox. But I have few questions about the scrog itself. How big should the holes need to be? I have a fragment of a fence that has cm holes in it. Will it be enough? How long should the plant be when I install Scrog? What to do if the Scrog will be too small for all the branches? Btw, don't bother about lights I'll be swiching them to 250w hps in a few weeks.

Your 250w hps will be perfect for doing a half decent size one plant scrog. When youre training her bear in mind the stretch that comes when you flip.If I was doing a scrog Id have her trained to grow vertical then tie the tops etc to the screen as/after they stretch

Ty, guys!
Shit, I forgot to mention the screen size of my Scrog- it is 5cm x 6cm (or 2 inches x 2,4 inches).
Will that be ok, or should I get a screen with bigger holes? And what size of pot should be good for 1 plant?
