The led does look very nice.. I just got a rocket plasma and going to attempt just one girl to see how she does under that light. its a pk ripper plant in a 4x4 scrog. will be starting in about a month.

Overall quality will be much better on the LED side, density, strength, taste and smell. At 60% of the HPS power draw if you get 10% to 15% less weight I think it's a good trade off and what would it take to equal the HPS weight, another 100 watts of LED?

I think if Apache made a 750 -800 it would match a 1000 in yield with a slightly better quality.

i think its gonna be same weight. within 10 grams. they both will yield same with same par. the smoke report will be the answer.

edit but led may take 3 more days to finish.

How about 4 200's,for a more even light coverage and how much do 200's draw?

Why do you think the LED would take longer? I use 730 nm flower initiators so mine actually finish sooner.

I use led and hps for some reason led takes 3-5 days longer to really get going other than that watt vs watt in my book if i had to take 1 over the other it would be led. I am impressed with the At600. If this grow does what i think ill order 1 in 2-3 months when i start new grows.

Much props on the grow. A lot of people are saying that hps isnt as frosty. Have you tried to use a dual arc bulb? I've used those and they really help pack on the trichs in my opinion. However, the bulbs are pricey.

Nice. I want to see a good run with a plasma.

I have thought about maybe more wattage...but for the sake of the test have resisted against it.
In the future I will use my at200 and some 120's probably and do some angling of the them.
The finishing has to do with heat...IR. Your supplement definitely helps them finish up as quick as they can.

I have some theories on leaf and ambient temperature I will be diving into. I need to get more data from what is going on currently. Then re work my theory. Then finally test it.

Not sure what is going to come out of it, but it's on the board of idea's. Even if just for a demonstration of the tech's capabilities.

It's a great light if I do say so my self. Even after my last run I am totally satisfied it. I have been putting people in shock then a coma after they see/hit my BBK. It's the best weed I have ever smoked...even better than my fire og(yet to grow under led though ;) )

I said it earlier...some say UVB...I say any good and sufficient amount of 450nm and lower blue will pack on the frost.
We used them in a grow I worked at years ago. The frost was better but not that much for the price of the bulbs and they yielded a bit less.

Too bad they dont give a discount for multiple purchases. I would want like 5 of these but dont want to fork over 10k.

Led's are not a short term investment. If he has 5 1K's...then he can replace them with at600's and save over time...despite the upfront cost. If he has a 5K setup he also could afford some things...allot a little from each harvest...plus the savings. Adds up quick. And the heat savings on that size of a room would be a good chunk too. Let's not hate for the way people spend their money. Specially if it's a worthy investment.

I wasnt hating, i think the at600s look really sick, just also very pricey. The next time i have an extra 2 grand though ill probably think about it.

Depending on when he had to replace bulbs and ballast could almost be a no brainer, price of hortilux is pretty comparable when you consider longevity
