First time grow started

first serious grow started. a 7'lx3'wx6'h. a 1000 watt digimaxx hps bulb, a sun systems xxxl air cooled hood 6" hurricane inline fan ducted to adjacent room that is conditioned. started germination on 4/20 of 2 heavyweight fast and vast auto fem, 1 delicious seeds cotton candy fem and dna genetics holy grail kush fem. planted all 4 today on 4/22. the 2 autos are in there 3 gallon pots and the other 2 non autos are in 6" pots. I also have a 8" fan in room for air circulation and humidifier in room to raise RH. RH is about 40% and temp. is at 80 degrees. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. fresh air coming into room is my next step which will be a 14"lx3 1/2"t duct with a 200cfm fan blowing in on a timer to run 30 minutes on and 15 minutes off.

welcome to RIU, weedies443! congratulations on the first grow! the delicious cotton candy and dna holy grail kush are two i've had my eye on lately... they sound like they would be great smokes! nice set up. what's your plan with the autos when you switch your light to flower the two fem beans?

That is what I haven't quite figured out yet. Im thinking of turning 3 foot of my space into veg area and keeping 4 foot for flowering. Either running a new 600w in the veg area or splitting my 1000w down and running two 600w to handle both. Still up in the air on how want to handle though.

that's what is cool about this hobby: it's always something. :-) i'm sure experienced growers will be along to help you with the fine details soon enough; i'm not sure that having your fan off for 15 minutes would be the way to go even with you venting the light. there's a lot of help here...someone will be able to help you with those finer details. sorry i can't though. i'm just your welcome wagon ;)
