Hi fellow RIUers
My wife has arthritis in her hands and wrists. I want to make pain reliving salve using coconut oil and some pretty potent bud and trim.
I am already planning on making some cannacoconut oil for cooking instead of cannabutter this time and I am already familiar with the process to make it for cooking.
What I'm unsure about is can she use the stuff I'm making for cooking or do I need to do a separate batch differently for the pain relief?
The cream will be used mostly in the morning as she wakes up with the pain and stiffness in her hands and wrists. She is a daily smoker but will be using this stuff before she goes to work and does not want to be high from it.
The questions are:
1) can she use the stuff we make for cooking to achieve pain relief?
2) will she get high from applying the cooking stuff to her skin?
3) if the answer is "yes she will get high" is there a different way I can make it that provides relief without a buzz?
Any suggestions or advice are greatly appreciated.
Many thanks from both if us.
