Is my plant to BIG to start a scrog?

Hey what's up guys, I have my plant which is about 6 weeks in veg

just got thru with a little nute burn problem but she's looking good the new growth is a healthy green an I already see pre-flowers on her, I think I want to take clones of her.

She's about 26-27 inches tall I was thinking of getting a trellis net zip tie to my tent poles so is she too big or would I have to do a lot of tucking an zip tying?

I throw mine under the scrog screen when there 36" tall and 42" wide approximately...so you really can toss it in whenever you wish to, it may be sum work...but the yield increase ALWAYS makes up for it

I'm up for some work tho, all I do is refill the res every other day, an run my hands thru the bush gently, I want something else to do with this grow.

what size square for the scrog would you recommend? I plan on buying a trellis net, the ones I seen come in 3.5x3.5inches, 5x5inches, an 6x6 inches. My tent is only 34x20x63 so I'm thinking the 3.5 mesh ones.

One other question do you flip right away in scrog or do you still let her veg, cause my girl is already showing pistils, an I was thinking of flipping to flower like next week Sunday

You need to build the screen and start tucking the shoots. Wait until the screen is 70% full if you have a stretchy sativa, 90% if you have an indica that stays squat then you flip 12/12. You want the 2x2 netting. Ideally each net whole will have a bud.

looks ok bit round and bushy
it would help the plant if you can get all the main branches as horizontal as possible into their own space at roughly an even height
you do not have to use a net you could make something like a tomato cage
or tie them out with wire etc
you could fix a wire net to the floor and tie each branch down to the floor so they all as horizontal as possible
this will help the plant fill the space and get even light over the best branches

Relating to the OP. What is the best/cheap item to use for a screen? I want to do the same and am brainstorming some items I could use for it. Thanks and happy growing!

I personally use 2" chicken wire fencing..the 2" mark gives me the best possible yield (I can post pics of my scrog if you wish later tonight) also I put them under the screen right before flip and let them stretch and fill it out during the first 2-3 weeks of flower (until growth slows noticeably)

Yeah I would like to see the pictures, cause I was thinking my plant was to big for 2" the fan leaves them self are like 5 inches or more do you lollipop also?
