Thinking about ordering these cup winners from Attitude

This season I have more than 50 different strains going with a couple hundred or more ;) plants total. Outside. I have every last one of Mr Nice Seeds and the CBD crew strains. I have several from Nirvana, Sweet Seeds, Barney's, Dr Greenthumb, etc etc etc. I got tons of seed and even breed my own now.
The strongest weed that I have smoked that I have grown was from Barney's called Violator Kush. Long time smokers for decades said it was too strong for them. It was for me as well, would lay your ass out and made you think your mind was going to explode.
Ive grown quite a few stout plants and a lot of it has to do with the grower and what your feeding it and the light it is getting. You just can't go wrong out in the sun.
Also any of those yield numbers you see is wishful thinking for 99% of the people on this board. It takes big plants to achieve big yields. When I say big I'm talking min 10 ft tall and 10 ft wide. I've harvested pounds off of plants at a super dry moisture level.
Big roots=big plants=big yields. Takes a lot of work as well with your pruning and picking off popcorn buds and those damn worms!! :((

cbd is considered to be better suited for medicinal benefits, which include many, many things, and won't get one high like a high thc strain will...
here's the link from wiki if you're interested in more, specific info on cbd..

You still get high smoking the 50/50 plants, but it's very modulated and it tends to last a lot longer. It's not the same for sure, but you still get a nice buzz.

Smoke CBD and then smoke THC and you will not get high however.

That's a good question, but it's an easy answer. If a variety of plants were run and they all sucked, then likely it was the grower. Barneys and GHS - as racer pointed out - are the perennial whipping boys on RIU. Coincidentally, there are no PRO - GHS or Barneys threads I'm aware of. The near universal disdain of those companies by growers far better than me is really all you need, I'd think. Either way....ya still never know unless you try. I'd just rather avoid proving naysayers right given the choice. Good luck.
GHS has plenty of fire. Most people don't like them for ethical reasons. I don't know anyone (who isn't a hater) who doesn't think Lemon Skunk and SLH are fucking incredible. They have some questionable lines too. Most folks who have grown out their Cheese like it.

I love a good cheese. I ran 3 GHS Exodus Cheese separately - got the free yellow grinder w/ order, in fact. Nice grinder. The plants sucked ass. Every one.

Those yielding the most are growing a lot of small plants actually. Most of those numbers I'd call conservative.

I've seen plenty of folks fairly pleased with it. Regardless, their SLH and Lemon Skunk are both awesome.

We've disagreed over strains before, but never shared a joint from the same plant. That might explain the different takes.
If you think SLH and LS are bad lines, you are mistaken - maybe the terpenes don't do it for you, but that's pretty subjective. If you found 3 meh plants in GHS Cheese - it wouldn't totally surprise me.

Maybe if your growing small plants but I'm not growing small plants outside unless they are autos like the sweet seeds I have. I grow trees, no problem to grow 10-15 ft tall plants here and yield lbs off of one. I have an indoor stadium set up and I can cram around 300 plants and flower them at about 6" tall. So ya I know about growing inside or even outside late in the year and they won't grow big because I do that as well. I have several outside right now that are almost finished flowering which are not autos.
Not to many people are going to take care of 100 10ft plants by themselves.

I have been taking some time looking through the cup winners on attitude, and have decided on these strains because of THC %, high yield, good smells/taste from smoke reports. If there are many known problems with these strains let me know, and I want first hand experience with these strains, not the breeders in general.

____________________________yield m^2---- THC ---- CBD ---- Flower time
Barney's Farm Red Dragon ___)___500 _____ 23% ____ ? ____ 9 weeks

Cali Connection 818 Headband ___ 800 _____ 22% ___ 0.2%?? _9 weeks

Dinafem Original Amnesia _______1000 _____ 22% ___ Low ___ 10 weeks

DNA Holy Grail Kush ___________500-650 ___ 20%+ ___ ?? ____ 9 weeks

Sweet Seeds Black Jack ________600 _____ 16-21% ___ ? ___ 9 weeks

If anyone has any strains that they know are better than these let me know I am looking for:
THC > 20%
Yield around 600 m^2
It should also be very tasty and smell awesome :D

I would also like to know if there is a low chance of getting a good phenotype from just 2-5 seeds, I would like to clone the best of each strain and keep it going. Which strains of these are the most stable? in other words.

List your all time favorite strain grown.

Just changed the strains a bit, Barney's still on the list... Red Dragon looks real good, here is a smoke/grow report from RIU - https://www.rollitup.org/t/red-dragon-smoke-report.300044/

Added DNA Holy Grail Kush, I had been eyeing that one for a while.
Added Black Jack, I would like to try a strain with Jack Herer

Cut the LSD and Critical Kush

I have not popped those beans yet but I do have a couple packets of them.
Their is a forum you can go to where one of the sub forums is dedicated to sweet seeds and lots of grows. I wouldn't have bought them unless they didn't come recommended. I'd venture over their and look around and talk to one of the sweet guys that posts on their.
I don't post much but I do read a good bit about strains and actually grow them out to find out what works where I live.
