my plant has leaves on the joints

Ok so my plant is about 3 weeks old and for some reason there are mini leaves sprouting on the joints of the branches, does anyone know if that is common or if i have a problem?

Your plant is looking normal...
That "mini leaves" are future branches...
If u intend to cut off main top, these tiny leaves will explode in growth in about 2 days,and soon they will become like branches...
But it all depends on what technique you choose ...
