1-2 Weeks left? Need opinions.. Close up macros etc. C99 By G13 labs.

Good pictures with some detail there. I still say she will be ready for a microscope in about 3 weeks. Looking at picture 0254 (the last pic), I would get rid of some of that tundra in order to expose the lower sections to light. I have examples if you need some, but I don't think you need much help from what I see. Healthy girl there bro! Peace

Most of the buds are in direct light apart from The bottom of the buds I guess.

Ye that's what I thought. I do tuck them under if I see one blocking a bud but I can't with the bottom of all the buds.

I'm just telling you what I see. When the breeder says 45 - 50, there are lot's of factors built into those numbers, as I'm sure you know. It is what it is IMO. Green and white hairs and ALL of the trichs are white and just starting to get milky. Look close and you will see the same thing. Your branches should have lower bud sections at every joint. Is that not true in your case? Tundra was used to recommend that you consider trimming off some of the leafs to expose the lower sections. Here's a picture of one of my tents from last year. With the exception of the Sort Rider on front left, those girls were harvested about a month later. When your trichs start looking like those shown below, your ready! Just an example...Your call- Peace

I just started growing c99 by female seeds....but, from what I've seen online there seems to be some good grows of c99 by a variety of breeders......I've seen good grows of the c99 by female seeds, g13, and maybe one or two others that I can't think of at the moment.....

Question for anyone:

When the pistols recede is it the pistols receding ? Or is it the buds expanding ??

I think its close to harvest and if i harvest now i won't be disappointed.
It could possibly go a week more and swell a tad more but would end with with a fair few amber trichs which i don't really want
because it will give more of a couch lock is that right?

Well people dont generally get c-99 to take deep to cochlock like state.
People get it for that freaked out paranoia vibe, some say its trippy call it what ya want c-99 48 days to me aint trippy its borderline psychosis, checking the rear view mirror every 3rd minute, peeping out the peep hole when nobody is there, heart racing, not my cup of tea. But thats why people get c99 the breeders recommend pulling her early when it 1st came out and the ones who inherited today the same. You will loose yield pulling it early but pulling it late would defeat the purpose of getting it. 5 weeks and you got your crazy bud. Your Milage May vary

Figure out which chop you like the best ( in days of flower ) and then repeat that with your next grow. There's no harm in taking some top buds now and the rest later. Yeah, i kind of want to harvest all at once as it will stink my house out trimming etc, and only want to do it once.
I'm proud as this is my third grow and have now got the hang of it

wrong, amber trichomes are degraded THC (CBN) you wasnt as little amber as possible with as much milky/cloudy as possible. what you want is the highest % possible of cloudy/milky trichomes. amber trichomes is something you want as little of as possible and its not true that more amber = more couchlock. This is a oldschool myth which has been proven wrong.

Great, yeah i kinda know a little bout having cloudy/clear combo with little as amber as possible.. but i don't want to harvest to early either.

this is outdated and incorrect, and definitely not a "definitive" answer . Its a lot more complicated than that and that picture is old and its not accurate

So i picked off a small piece of bud on the bottom of a main bud last night and dried it over night and vaped it just now, i checked it for trichs and was kinda 50/50 clear/cloudy as it was way under the other growth.
Its a pretty good high, most of it in the head and i feel motivated for now. Tasted fucking amazing.. pineapple/fruit flavor
