I had to turn off the hps for a better pic
yea I did some reading the leds light is like 100 percent useful wearas hid only like 10 percent get absorbed or something, im just not really sold on it I love hps I miss my 600 watt. but I will do some more reading up on the subject. are you using led's right now if you are throw me a link id love to check it out
In regards to the bagseed to hermie ratio, idksome more experienced may help us out there. If your t5 isn't that big then your dominant color is the red. Mixing seems to be good but on a different scale. Like leaving the t5 on during flower seems like a great idea IMO . The UFOs are not that bad in price. Around 100. From what I gather there wattage does more per watt than others for the veg cycle. For a closet... Mehhh, you could probally get by with a 135 watt that you could find on sale maybe around 150. But reading up on reviews of these will have you seriously contemplating it lol. Sooooo much cooler and they run sooo much less energy. With the money your gonna have to spend on exhaust to keep temps down, you could have traded that for a led and no heat issue. It is tempting I know

Unfortunately not. But many have suggested it to me. And I will go that route when I cross that bridge. I only intend on using the UFO led for vegging but for now and for the rest of the year most likely, I will be doing 12/12 from seed so only flowering for me. And I am with you on the hps.
I love it for flowering.

one more question would you ever flower in a 1 gal. container? also did you see the lil side shoots on the last pic? kinda strange for a baby to start branchin so early on but im not complaining I toss plants that get tall n lanky.
