Wish I was pulling that much bud dude I can see what your saying tho not such a necessity for the domestic grower, cheers for your advice bro much appreciated
No worries.
Some little tips for you.
Leaf health plays a vital role in yield. Green leaves = healthy well performing plants.
Environmental control.
Air IN. Air OUT. Temperatures and air circulation.
Don't be tempted to cut out N during flower. I currently use 5-4-3 NPK but have used 6-3-8 start to finish.
Bloom boosters can work pretty well if using it at the right time. If you are unsure when to properly use a booster just leave them out. A balanced nutrient profile will not require addition boosters.
Biggest nutrients that make a difference to my grows besides the base formula. Calcium and magnesium in mono form.
In 5 years of growing I haven't felt the need to invest in Co2.
Its only in the last 2.5years that I've really started hitting big numbers as far as yield goes.
Try your hand at different forms of plant training. Topping. LST. Supercrop. Mainline.
Don't be afraid to prune growth that's outside of your usable lighting penetration.
Look into the inverse square law of artificial lighting to see how quickly light generated from HID's deminishes the further away from the lamp you get.
Train your plants to maximise the usage of the lighting you've chosen.
Genetics.
Try your hand with proven genetics.
DINAFEM critical+ is a pretty decent yielder.
HSO blue dream is a decent yielder.
Change one thing per grow to see whether it works better or worse than before.
And here's a little picture to keep you interested.
