cool!! LoL. seen how they work now so im good on that. heres a chart on air pot sizes. that 3 gal is the same size as the 2 black pots like i have now, so instead of getting into air pots right now, my main deal is getting some good seeds first!! made some sales on ebay so paypal will pay for a couple good seeds and i'll stick with the plastic pots for now, LoL. thanks bro!! yeah, im good at making mistakes, LoL.

I scored some cheap 6500k light bulbs at a small local hardware.....only 99 cents each.....

They are 23 watt but only 1500 lumens....You guys think I am OK with those lumens or should I just use them around the house ?

For Anyone who grows with cfls : you might want to stock up when you get a chance....I heard cfls are on their way out.....good and bad.....they might not be available anymore in the near future but there should be some smokin' deals on them as they phase them out....Remember when they phased out incandescents ?

I think I am getting better with the microscope...I use two hands, and it seems to work better....So far I see nothing amber..They still look mostly clear to me...maybe a few cloudy....

Well I noticed the power cord was gettin' warm to the SpaCe CaB so I ran to the Depot, and got a 12-3 cord rated for 20 amps...I also switched the whole cab onto a 20 amp breaker....Should be smooth sailin' now.....Took a few pics....The main cola looks to be swelling faster on the top portion than on the bottom portion, lol...Looks a little funny...I also took a pic holding a 23 watt cfl for size comparison...There are 15 lower bud sites...They are all pretty much the size of a 23 watt cfl bulb....

I checked on the outdoor seeds...they seem a little slow...I may have over-watered them a bit...Hopefully they will be ok...I did notice one of the Purple Maroc's starting to pop her head through the soil...They've been in the soil for two days.

Hey Muck ! thanks !...I will post pics in my next post...I think my timer was screwed up, and may have been on 24-7...I don't care for 24-7....Also I believe both plants want nutes (hence, the yellow leaves)....I gave them their first dose a few days ago which was less than the smallest recommended amount...I just watered...Tomorrow I will up the dose...Also, I screwed up, and mixed the tags up so I don't know what plant is what....One of them is c99, and the other is a RQ Power Flower...Are you able to tell me which is which ?

It takes so long for me to pull up your pictures though??

I am assuming the pages that were before this were the hard ones to load ? I have since reduced my picture size...I also insert them now as thumbnails rather than full images so that should hopefully help....I know it's annoying when pages won't load....

UPDATE: DAY 71 of 12-12 for the Kerala x Skunk #1 - I've been impatiently waiting for this thing to finish, lol....The pistols are only about 35% orange, and they don't seem to want to recede...Buds are huge...That pic of the secondary bud is with a 23 watt cfl...The bud starts to get thinner below that but is still about twice as long as the bulb itself ! This thing is going to yield wayyy more than I expected....You can also see in the pics the new buds growing out of the top of the main bud...they are also doing this to a lesser degree on the lower bud sites.....

UPDATE : DAY 17 Vegg for the C99 & Power Flower

I think my timer might be screwed up...It was supposed to be off at 10am when I came home it was totally on at noon !!! I am going to test it again...

CD, can you chime in here ? When the power gets shut off do you have to reset this timer ?

I'm totally not into 24-7 for plants other than the first few days when they are seedlings (maybe more so to keep temps up then).......So I changed out the timer....Hopefully this helps...I think they could be a little taller but my lights because of the splitters are almost to the sides....They are above the plants but more to the sides.....Not sure if this is the cause but they have some pretty darn tight nodes....One plant more so than the other...One the one plant the nodes are so tight it's tough to move the branches to see the actual main stalk !

Anyways I am going to up the Jack's 20-20-20...They seemed to like the small dose I gave them.....I also picked up this bottle of Liquid Seaweed from the local hydro store...Comes from the Norwegian Oceans, and is supposed to contain good stuff....

So I am going to feed them the 20-20-20, liquid seaweed, and Floralicious Plus...Debating whether or not to also give them GH Rapid Start...I am a little leary on the ingredients of it so I am trying to use it sparingly...But so far from when I have used it, it has worked well !

Once these babies get a little healthier I am going to top using Uncle Ben's Topping Technique if it's not too late in vegg....

OUTDOOR PLANTS UPDATE:

It appears that 5 of the 6 have died, and are actually growing mold on them now ! lol .....That sucks cause those seeds were expensive,...I thought I was going to have an unexpected visitor the other day, and you could totally see light coming out from the cardboard box so I tossed them in the veg chamber minus the humidity dome...5 hours later they were all laying on their sides...It looks like they are all dead except one....

The Obituary :

All 4 Female Seeds Purple Maroc - I now have none left so I guess they are out of the equation for this year

1 Samsara GLP - I still have some left

THE ONE SURVIVOR !!!!!! issssssssss.......Dinafem's Critical Jack !!!! She is small but GREEN !!! LOL....She has her cotlyedons, and is trying to get her real first real set of leaves....So it will be interesting with this one....Could be a good strong strain and pheno.....

I think I may germinate 2 or 3 more seeds still...It's later than I thought but from talking to other guys still worth it where I am here in the North East....

It may have been a little hot and a little too moist...When I put them in the veg chamber it must have been a shock to them, and they died....

I am redoing my grow operations now...I was going to top, and clone the c99 and Power Flower....Well since I have not gotten a straight answer from anyone on any weed forum regarding topping down to the second node with yellow leaves I decided to forego the topping....

Instead I just FIM'd them now....And that lone survivor out of those outdoors seeds ? lol...I am going to give her a short veg of maybe like a week or so, and then toss her into the flowering chamber......

I think I may start up another batch of outdoor stuff...But maybe not as many this time.

Well I found it the timer doesn't keep the right time...Sucks cause I bought it used back in February, and I am just using it now...Hopefully they give me my money back...I emailed them.....

FUCK I MISSED !!! Lol, literally...I might have cut too much off the plant in first pic, lol....The last two pics are of the other plant...think I Fimmed that one "correctly".....I've started seeing some more growth after I gave a minimum dose of nutes a few days ago....Last night I gave them liquid seaweed and FP for the first time.....I also gave them an increased dose of the 20-20-20....Can't wait to see how they like it..

One thing I thought was weird is there was no seal on bottle of liquid seaweed...I mean how do I know what's in the bottle is what's supposed to be in there ?

The seeds were still floating today, but I just tapped them, and then they sank...Here's a pic of the seeds in one of those jiffy greenhouses...I covered it up so the seeds and seedlings are not exposed to light....That was about 7 hours ago.Temps are holding steady at 82 in there....

I went to Target today to get a cool mist humidifier but they only had a big one...Should have gone to Wally World instead, dohhhh....Oh well not quite needed right at this moment anyways.....

I need to get some more 6500k bulbs...Last time I ordered from 1000bulb.com .....Anyone know if they are the cheapest place to get bulbs from ? The local places only seem to have 5000k.

next time try pre soak toilet paper dip in the seed fold it and put it in plastic bag so it get moisture keep it somewhere warm and boom my rooted up in 2-3 days

That post must have been from a while ago, and some other seeds...What date are you quoting me ? This thread goes months back...I had no problem germinating, and rooting my current seeds....I got the germ, and root part down now.

in my opinion its better to germinate seeds in toilet paper or tissue instead of soaking them, as well as I like to dry half of the soil and keep the other half moist then the roots in the dry soil are forced to grow deeper making better root system

Well here's a preliminary smoke report....

I sniped off two of the tiniest, airiest, and fluffy buds from way underneath near the bottom...

I dried them out for a few days...No cure....

Smoke totally tasted like hay....Obv. needs curing....But I took 5 hits, and wondered if I was high or not....One strange thing I noticed was it seemed like the actual smoke produced per hit was higher than normal...I thought things started seeming odd when I went to leave the house...Ever question yourself, and think you are forgetting something ? That's how I felt...

I decided I would go to the car wash, and pay my cell bill in the store....I am fine driving high..

When I got into that car wash parking lot things got a little weird....I was a little confused what lane to go in - oil change ? car wash ? Express Lane ? lol...Well I got through that ok then I was off to pay my bill....

I never paid in-store before, and I was using cash...They told me there is a machine to pay your bills....Well unfortunately I could not figure it out, lol...I was hitting the #s that looked like atm buttons....Little did I know it was touch screen, lol...I had to go ask for help....lol...She touched the screen, and "wallah" there was the menu, lol.....

Anyways, I'd say the high is "uppity" with a slight body stone...Seems like it makes you want to do stuff....So definitely a functioning type weed which is what I was looking for...Can't wait to see what the real buds smoke like after a good cure.....Can't wait....

Some updated pics of happenings in the Space Cab....

Well the c99 and PF LOVED that stuff I gave them...They exploded, lol....The one plant seriously grew vertically, and started stretching...I think I want to get them into flower sooner rather than later.....I also don't have a choice as I may be running out of space on the veg chamber...

Kerala Skunk seems to be getting closer...She is starting to yellow as I am only giving her water now..Trichs overall having more of that "sugar" look, rather than the "wet" trich look..Still no amber...Also seems the pistols are somewhat starting to recede, more so on the main cola....

I was running low on my stash so I trimmed the popcorn stuff from underneath.

Does anyone think that's a seed popping out in the second to last pic ? It looks odd, and there is nothing like it anywhere else on the whole plant.

EDIT: oh ya, and doesn't the fourth to last pic look like the plant is giving the middle finger ? lol

unreal...both the used timers I bought off ebay are no good...I hooked up the second one...I just went down there...It's supposed to be lights off right now in the vegg chamber...Lights off are from 10am to 4pm...Supposed to be off but lights are on and fan blowing.....I think that's the end of used timers for me on ebay....The lady I bought it from is actually giving me a hard time about it too...

I just hope these 2 screwed up timers I've been using to vegg those plants doesn't make them herm.
