Nute burn OR Heat burn?

I know pics would be a big help but I cannot post any at the moment.

I've got what appears to be nute burn BUT its only at the tops of the plants, all the undergrowth looks great so this leads me to think maybe its heat burn? I definitely have temps sometimes up to 94 degrees in the tent and unfortunately its unavoidable in my current situation now that summer is upon us.

Any thoughts? Does nute burn affect the entire plant equally or does this just stay at the tops? Is heat burn more likely?

I live in the deep south so I take the summer months off. It really gets too hot and too humid and also I don't wanna be growing during hurricane season. So for me I generally start popping my beans in October, I avoid a lot of problems by doing it that way. I'm getting ready to harvest my last grow until fall, and really this is a very late in the season grow for me. The reason why I'm growing this time of year is because someone stole most of my stash, but that is a whole other story.

I'd lean toward heat, any time I go over 92, its panic time, thats like, the hard ceiling....

If cost is the problem, short term, build one of those 5gal bucket chillers, and keep a few jugs of water rotating in the freezer/chiller.
<--example

Remember, this isn't a super-late season.... it's a head start on the next one!

Scarecrow, you should watch the associated video that shows how to make one out of an ice chest. It takes a ice chest a 12V fan (get at an auto parts store or online) and a 4" SDR 35 elbow (That's pvc sewer pipe).
You can also use a standard fan, the 12V is useful if you use a 15W solar panel for power.

Scarecrow, he uses a sabre saw to cut the holes after tracing them. After putting it all together he uses a block of ice he freezes in a small container that about half fills the ice chest. His thermometer at the outlet reads 45*F or about 7*C. Pretty good, and the block lasts about 5 or 6 hours, maybe longer.

BASICALLY... a 5g bucket, slightly smaller bucket inside (for the melting ice) w/ holes in the side 3/4 of the way up. (thru both buckets) and a hole in the top.

top hole fits a small desktop fan, pointing into the bucket, smaller ones drill out w/ a hole saw.

drop a 1g jug of frozen water, or some ice, etc. into inner bucket, pop the top on, hit the fan switch..... 45-50f air out the side holes. 2-3x a day depending on how fast it heats up, change out for fresh ice block.

Add lots of fan action to the grow room to help compensate for the inevitable humidity increase.

(Be damn careful cutting the lid, its not as easy as vids make it look, ive made a few custom 5g buckets in my day, lol)

Thanks choo..im going to give it ago ...im growing in attic at the moment and battling savage heat issues..just 1 thing the fan is blowing down on the ice and blowing it out the duct part right ..thanks again..scarcrow77
