It was called the German Workers Party before Hitler took over. He took over because he liked their philosophy.

Sorry, they were socialists. He let the people who owned businesses keep them, but he nationalized their control.
That is authoritarian, not socialist. He did not fully control either, profits stayed private and so did ownership.

that is correct, if your definition of "Privatized" is:

siezing an industry or company, turning it over to a board of fascist party apparatchiks, ensuring that the industry or company does EXACTLY as Il Duce commands, and sends most of it's profits to Il Duce, while the Apparatchiks pocket the remainder.

sounds like what most of the rest of the world would call Nationalizing an industry or company

thats pretty damned socialist to me.
No kynes. Many industries were nationalized when he came to power but he privatized them. Once this occurred, nothing was accountable to the people.

The famalies that owned german companies remained in the owners position.

Hitler and the Nazis allowed them to, but they could only make what Hitler allowed them to make.

It was a spin off of socialism. A little different flavor, but pretty much the same thing.

No.

Fascism is a form of capitalism, hence the privatization.

really? cuz mussolini's own memoirs, and history say otherwise.

one example that springs to mind is italy's "nationalized" railway which was in fact govt run before mussolini, and it was plagued by waste, inefficiency and bullshit.

he took it from the bureaucrats who had been running it into the ground (like Amtrak in the US) and handed it directly to a select group of party apparatchiks to operate

thats how he "Made the trains run on time" (i bet that phrase sounds familiar)

and yet he did NOT "privatize it" at best you could say he "Reformed It" or "Put it under new management"

the govt still maintained direct control, still owned it, still set the agenda, and still took the lion's share of the profits (which had been negligible under the bureaucrats) and merely used a piece of the pie as incentive for the new managers to keep shit moving.

yep, still socialist, still nationalized, just better run with an incentive for doing your job competently.

you wish you were as socialist as mussolini.

fascism could equally be called a German form of socialism, since by it's very nature, fascism combines socialism AND capitalism to try to find a Third Way (a slogan still popular among democratic socialists worldwide)

fascism is MORE socialist than capitalist, and still springs from the ideas and assumptions of marx and engles.
mussolini simply hammered olde fashioned marxism into a shape that would sell in italy (then later, in spain and germany)

Orwell is also wrong as fuck in that quote, since Fascism is an ITALIAN form of ______________ism. hitler, franco and the rest of the world's "democratic socialist" and "Third Way" proponents simply copied mussolini's program with minor regional changes to suit local tastes.

even the word Facism is ITALIAN, not german, and thats why you fail. you blindly follow your chosen heroes, and vilify your chosen villains, without ever examining the issues yourself.

So according to this word salad, privatization is actually socialism?

Good job kynes. You're fucking special.

the definition of fascism is the marriage of the corporation and the state
with The State in total control, and the "corporation" run by The Party Faithful.

thus it's not a "marriage" but more like forced prostitution under the domination of a violent authoritarian pimp.

which is the very heart of socialism as designed by Marx and Engles.

and this egghead fails to recognize that while it was CALLED "privatization" the new "Private Owners" were under the direct control of the government, and the boards were made up of Mussolini's henchmen.

hitler too "privatized" industries like the aircraft manufacturing sector, which he gave to the direct control of Goering.

yep thats Super Privatized...

Marxists have been trying to ace Mussolini out of Marxism ever since he first created the fascist heresy of "The Third Way", much as the Bolsheviks airbrushed trotsky out of official photographs, and the PRC prohibits any mention of the year 1989.

Marxists are adept at redefining words, torturing their meanings and revising history to suit their narratives.

But the profits were still privatized and so was ownership.

No matter how hard you try to redefine words kynes, fascism is a right wing ideology.

Here is the link again to the academic historical research.

the profits went mostly to the government, with only a slice going to the party officials who ran the operations under the direct control of the government.

posting the same fail bullshit "study" again doesnt make it any less worthless.

http://www.worldfuturefund.org/wffmaster/reading/germany/mussolini.htm

read The Doctrines of Fascism by Il Duce himself.

he was a Marxist through and through, also an avowed Socialist, and his "heresy" of Fascism was simply a smaller step towards the Marxist goal than the communists and socialists wanted.

Rhetoric: national socialism
Results: privatization

Your playbook is so simple, you try to redefine words, then insist I'm trying to redefine words. You are a Fedora wearing neckbeard and now you suggest I would ever put such a vagina repelling thing on my head.

I am disappoint.

No kynes.

Words have meanings.

Fascism is a form of capitalism, hence the privatization.

Mussolini privatized the Italian economy.

These are facts.
