Flowering with Cree bulbs

Wow, amazing job! I currently have 4 14w actual 5000k and one 14w actual 2700k vegging my cab space 16" long, 13" deep, and 32" high. Could I just replace those bulbs with LED and I will lose all that heat? What would you suggest for a flower cab where I am going to be doing SOG. Same size limitations... Thanks so much, this journal has inspired me instead of buying a UFO for 90+ dollars

Would these be worth it compared to a standard Cree bulb? I feel like 2-4 of these in my space for flower...I haven't seen any like this for veg though.

They would run cooler than CFL's for sure, stick with the Cree's and not the budget LED's and I got good results from 25 watts a square foot of Cree's.

I run a portable veg and window air conditioner during the warm weather because I usually have five plants in flower, keeps my humidity in the 40's.
Thanks Captain! I ordered 3 Cree 9 watt 5000ks today, 12 a piece from amazon and I got free shipping! Still don't know if I'm going to go with an actual panel or theses for flower though.

My mini TGA's are almost ready. First is a single pic of the pennywise, she's got some amber and is ready to go. The rest are the two different phenos of Quantum Kush,3 of each pheno. The QK's are not quite ready, they have different bud structure and one is getting some nice color to her leaves. I'll be testing these along with at least my Critical Kush.
Wow those colas are shining like diamonds

Yo cap'n what ever happened to your updateeee. I am still in veg and trying to decide between upgrading to a larger space with a panel led for flower or keeping my current 13*16*32 space if flower works out well enough with just the bulbs. My pplants are loving the Cree veg bulbs BTW and I only have 3 compares to like 5 cfl

Good to hear your doing well with the Cree bulbs but for the first time in over a year I don't have a single Cree bulb on in my garden,I'm sure I'll use them for supplemental lighting from time to time or over a cloning dome maybe.

It's only been a couple weeks since many were in use in the garden. I'm using a few around the house now but haven't made the definite decision to retire most of them from the garden. More lighting changes to come in the next month than I'll decide if I'm done using them, upgrading my efficiencies where ever I can in the garden.

I've got about 30 A19's and 12 BR30's Cree bulbs so it's a pretty large investment in bulbs, paid the original price for almost all of them.
