Eric Cantor... ousted

I am not sure how much more ignorant a statement you could make considering the color of our president...
Why do you think the elderly far right are forming tea parties? They feel their patriarchal grip on the country growing weak as their churches disintegrate, no longer able to keep women down. They view minorities as a threat, and this manifests as their hate for the president.

Human life is sacred, as proclaimed by our founding documents, and I will always support laws that protect life. Our fundamental rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness precede the existence of government and come from God, the Author of Nature. These core constitutional rights have been usurped by the Judicial and Executive Branches and must be returned to the people and their representatives."

What I make out of all of this:

If you actually do your job as a politician, and try to work across the aisle to maybe get something done for once, you get kicked out of the club. Polarized America for the win.

I'm just gonna make assumptions and say this is referring to abortion. Could be wrong, n I'll own it. That said let's continue the madness--->

So fetuses have rights? Sweet. I'd use the unwanted ones for stem cell research myself, but gay people having equal rights doesn't bother me either so maybe I'm just a lunatic. Here's a question: Does a gay person have the same rights as a fetus? Lmao. Oh wait...they aren't human huh? Abominations or something to that effect? :wall:

Our life is no more precious than the fly you just smacked n smeared across your wall. Or the cattle we raise specifically to chop up into pieces and digest after burning it over a heat source. Preventing a human life that'll most likely be neglected and become another fine contributing member of the welfare class is not as morbid as eating beef IMO. And I eat the shit outa some beef, so pro-choice ftw ;)

I got another one you guys are gonna love lool. So if what differentiates us from other animals n makes us more "precious" is our intelligence, then why don't we chop up our "mentally challenged" people and serve them up with a baked potato? Food for thought

Revolutionary ideas o_O

While we're on the subject of tolerance, how much longer is the underclass in this country going to tolerate being treated like indentured servants? That's reason number one why I don't work in Corporate America; the slave wages they offered just weren't worth it to me.

We've replaced acceptable racism and bigotry with the acceptability of classism. That's a huge mistake and it's absolutely corrosive to the fabric of who we are as a country.

When was the last time a Christian tried to exercise their religion in your personal space???
I got one. A pastor was friends with someone on FB that I'm friends with and was making absurd comments about how homosexuals are abominations and will be condemned to hell. I tried to explain that they're people too and should have the same rights as us 'straight' people. He proceeded to basically say I'm probably gay and won't make it to heaven. I then explained that I'm straight, but choose to be because of my own ideas not because of a "God". He insisted I must be gay, and was going to hell. Does that count?

How freaking high do you get this early in the morning? Cripes, I don't think any portion of that post went anywhere.
apparently, about that high.

only a leftist could fuss whine cry and accuse over a Democratic Process operating as intended and the people represented, moving a step closer to choosing their representative.

ZOMG!! Democracy!!
Dubble ZOMG!! Republic!

the republican party should just, like the democrat party, select it's candidates in smoke filled rooms full of shadowy figures.

how sad is it that republican party members VOTE for their candidates (using democracy) while democrats eschew democracy in favour of shady back room deal making and secretive meetings between power brokers?

That's a nice story bro. So democrats don't get elected - just republicans...hmm. I would never consider a republican making deals behind doors on their way up the polls. That'd be ludicrous:roll:

riiiight.

Facebook.

was he making those comments on his OWN face book thing, or was he posting that shit on yours?

if it was your thing, yes, he should STFU, if it was his, then YOU willingly subjected yourself to his blather.

easy solution: if you dont want to hear crazy people, dont hang out in places where crazy people shout at clouds.

I can pull it up n get you screenshots if you want lmao. I explained it was on a mutual friends comment, so Idk where the confusion is. I know a religious zealot preaching damnation to gays is such a far-fetched thing to believe...maybe I can find a better example that's more believable.

derp.

republican party candidates are selected by a vote of the members in a primary. thats a republican tradition, and a rule in the party

democrats select their candidates through primaries in some locations (mostly where required by law), but largely through CAUCUSES which is when power brokers meet and select the candidate among themselves, with little or no interest in the party membership's preferences.

democrats prefer to have as little democracy as possible in their democracy.

Yesterday. A pair of Baptists rang my door bell and began preaching.

I had to take raw umbrage with the very idea of force preaching me, on my own Private Property before they would even leave.

And if that has never happened to you there is a real reason.

We won't see eye to eye on anything apparently, but I will say this - the fact that he won without spending 1/40th of Cantor's campaign budget is something I can appreciate. I personally think there should be a set budget, paid by taxes, for EVERY campaign / candidate so there is absolutely even ground and not allow any contributions from anybody. Would you agree with something like that?

ok, ill make this simpler for you.

this preacher was EITHER in your house preaching his shit at you (which would be wrong) OR he was preaching in his pulpit and you went into his church willingly subjecting yourself to his blandishments (which means you should refrain from going into churches if you want to recuse the amount of preaching you hear.)

one or the other.

i did not assert he WASNT preaching. you made that claim up in your own head.
