Not all buds are dense. I have not grown GC. It is actually to bad people think a dense bud is the way they should be. Some of the best smoke is a little loose. A lot of things can make them loose. Amount of light, ferts and temps. I have grown rock hard flowers in 95 and up temps. I like them a little loose. No mold. :bigjoint:

i like them tight with good resistance to mould :D , but i agree that airy buds are not less worth smoking at all. I love big airy foxtail sativas :D .Flyffu buds are also improtant if you grow outdoors in humid and northern areas where season ends 1-15sep since if they too compacts = budrot :)

I ran the Humboldt version of GC and didnt have that type of issue with it. It was a fast finisher too. Heres what a dried bud of mine looks like. These were run under my 400 watt lights

Either strain/pheno or just eats nitrogen faster than others.

It has plenty of N the bottom half of the soil has Bat Guano Mexican and Alfalfa meal in it. It was just transplanted about a week ago. So I'm leaning towards its a pheno type.

Green Crack is a sativa, andi have found them harder to grow. I have only had sucess growing indica's myself, cant get the weight i should with sativas.
