Hanging here in Oregon. Just getting ready to harvest my first grow. Had a terrible mite problem but can salvage a lot of it. Clones rooted and ready for the next.
I have clones that are clean of mites. I am going to bleach the inside of the grow area, and during veg stage is it safe to spray with neem safer soap??Question is....what are you doing for preventative maintenance on the mites now and for the future? Welcome and glad to meet ya, theres plenty here willing to help if the need ever arise
Havent checked into neem safer soap? I imagine its just neem with a organic biodegradable soap? If so yes it is if the problem arises. Personal tip, I like to add neem to my cleaning products so when I clean the walls and room it has the neem oil on the area still, keeps me from usually having to use anything else throughout my growth period and ive done it for years, seems to do the job. I dont like spraying anything onto my plants unless the problem presents itself. I do however spray it down with water to clean up the stomata and dirt occasionally, and occasionally spray up a real light AACT to keep my friendly bacterias in check.I have clones that are clean of mites. That's a great idea! My grow "room" is actually the shower of our motorhome. Don't worry we are parked next to a family members home so I do shower. Anyway the area is about 4x4 and about 6 tall so the next ones will be a Scrog grow. I am going to wash the stall down with bleach and new pots and soil for the clones.Havent checked into neem safer soap? I imagine its just neem with a organic biodegradable soap?
