I germinated 6 feminized white widow, after 2 1/2 days 3 had started to sprout routes and I planted them in seedling soil and added perlite, placed them in humidity dome and under a 600watt Hps in my cupboard about a little over a meter above. It's been about 5 days there's difference in size in all 3, one is looking as it probably should and the other 2 are still small 1 more than the other. My temp is around 80 - 85%. Am just unsure if maybe the dome or distance of the light is effecting them. I haven't ordered any more seeds so these are really all I have. Just worried about them lol. Any advice?

Ditch the dome. Under the dome your temps are prolly much higher than 80-85. Clones without roots need a dome. Seedling sprouts do not.

"Dome the clone, leave sprouts alone."

How's that for a Lawbaw Law Bomb?

You really are wasting electricity with the 600hps, they cannot absorb all the energy being released by that bulb at present. I do agree with the comments made in similiar threads that CFLs at this stage will be sufficient.

The seedling that is still closed is puzzling, they take about a day to open, the other two I wouldn't worry too much about.

Yeah I think Iam going to order some cfl man, it's eating up about £4 a day on power and the fans running. A think it will just have to do them for now I only have 11watt cfl and that's to small for 3 plants.

It's as if the inner shell skin is preventing it from fully opening

Don't water them until you see that the soil surface has dried a good deal, before it is bone dry; pots will feel much lighter.
Seedlings usually do not need to be watered very frequently. There are no roots to absorb the water. As the roots grow you'll notice you do have to water more frequently (and RH, airflow will affect this) so don't water with any set frequency like clockwork; just do it when they need it.

What kind of mix is it? If it didn't have any perlite in it, throwing it on the top isn't really going to help much. Quality potting mix holds air even when wet.

Along with the 600 w HPS being over-kill and the dome, already covered, those two fans are over-kill. You don't want to treat seedlings like you're testing their aerodynamic properties; a wind tunnel is no place for a seedling. Those could also portentially dry the media out much faster. You want an oscillating fan or a small fan on low to provide a gentle breeze.

Only one fan is on, but yeah your right I did have 2 running because temps ran at 90+ degrees before I set an extraction fan to take some if the hit air out the cupboard the light was producing. I mixed the perlite in the soil 70%soil 30%perlite and stuck the left over on top. I think watering is perhaps a bit to frequent and I will buy a cfl light kit if these girls ever make it to cloning stage, more light is better than no light I guess. I will leave the plants to air out and dry on the top before watering again.

P.s the soil doesn't contain any nutes. Was recommended for seedlings and cuttings at a garden store.

Thanks for your input

Water less no nutes if u have a dig ballast swap the hps for a mh and dimm the fcker down if u having heat issues now u gonna have lota trouble down the road when they get bigger in a cupboard

I've ordered a 120x 120x 200. Grow tent the cupboard was just going to be the vegetive area for about 4-6 plants. My seeds arrived and I just thought "fuck it" I could probably get a head start whilst waiting on my tent.

The tent actually comes with another 600watt Hps so I will keep it as a back up or when I get the first few grows under my belt use it for a bigger grow.
