What made you want to veg them out so much instead of High Density Sog with 12 inch plants that yeild an ounce each.

Plant counts?

You have roughly a similar setup to mine, you should go perpetual with it...

My height limit is 10 feet so I will veg them to 3 feet b4 I flower them, theres no reason why I would SOG if I have 10 feet to play with, no reason at all, I have a whole freakin room to work with here.

Sog really has nothing to do with plant height and more to do with the fact that it is possible to pull 4 ounces from 1 sq foot with 4 plants of floor space as opposed to 2-3 from 1 massive plant that takes up 2 square feet.

Sog has everything to do with yeild and nothing to do Height of room.

For example I grow 100 plants in a 3 foot x 6 foot area.
I yeild average 64-75 ounces

If I were to put massive plants in the same space I could fit maybe 12 plants and get at most 3 oz's maybe 4 off them so 36-48 ozs...

Get what Im saying....

The reason why this does not work well is because artificial light cannot penetrate the canopy and becomes almost useless a few ft down from the bulb.

Thats why SCROG or SOG work so damn well indoors.

Havent you noticed the lower half of those tall ass plants dont produce anything worth keeping? Its because the lower half of those plants arent getting any light really.

I understand what your saying but with my first grow I am not going to grow any other method except the method I know how, which is soil, indoors, clones, top, flower, harvest. I just added molasses today which I heard is great for your plants down the stretch and I need anything I can to ensure a decent harvest for my first grow. When I am up north in Santa Cruz or Mendocino county I will be able to grow 150 sq. ft. legally. I can then try other ways to grow, so now you know and I wasted my whole night for a comeback but I guess you didnt know. Here are some updated pics on my first grow, 2 weeks left to go. check em out.

I am not nocking your grow, or even giving advice- looks decent for a first grow- about where i am in mine as well, its been good following it for that reason. I am growing mine in a similar fashion and will probably continue to- its only for personal and i like the tall all natural style of the plant- rather than the shorter sea of green in which each plant is pruned... I like to watch it live and flourish.

I know your not the one that was trying to give someone advise for their first grow but I just dont like it when someone asks you " why didnt you try some other way to grow for your first grow ". If this was my 3rd grow or something, you guys have the right to ask me why I am not trying other methods of growing. But this is my first grow indoors and to be quiet honest with you, I really like growing in soil with main colas, if I topped earlier I would have had a sick amount but I topped a lil too late, so thats my fault. Anyways, I got 2 weeks left and I am stoked about harvesting.

If you dont like my thread, if you dont agree on my garden, if you dont think I havent done my research, you think I am that stupid to try anything new on a first grow.
Please do not respond to anymore messages or reply to this tread again, cuz it is not directed towards you but I do not think it is wise to continue this b4 it gets completely out of hand. I feel like you guys are think your better than anyone else in the forums, your wrong. I studied for months finding the easiest way to grow for a first timer and realized that soil growing is easy and efficient. I am now taking your advise and your sarcasm further than before and have notified the admins to watch this thread and if anymore bashing occurs they will step in and take care of it.
You werent giving me advice on my first grow, you were trying to insult me and everyone here that reads these threads. I am here to help others that are interested in facts, what works, what doesnt. I am not here to take crap from anyone.

Yea man those are like as good as my like third harvest. (I also had sum shitty seeds but neway) I been doin this for allmost a year now so im still new. Sorry if this has been asked bit I'm not goin thru 10 pages, why the black plastic? Black absorbs light, and you havn't been taking big fan leaves off early have you? For sum reason when I first started I thought it a good idea to take off big healthy fan leaves... neway, have you flushed them at all? look like nute burn or light? still gonna be dank bud. I have gone though all kinds of techniques on plants and ive decided to do more small plants topped just once and vegged smaller. Right now my plants are 6ft and theres no reason for them to be. Their still not very great either and I've got to do sumthin bout it. but thats my problem.

Anyway definitally its all about trial and error cause when I first started I tried to learn off forums and shit and while they can help you alot, you pretty much just gotta learn from experiance and youll learn allot in the first year.

Ok since you said no more bashing or shit talking im going to do neither, yet YOU continue.....and you also add a little bit of BULLSHIT to the insult...Heres a little FACT.....

I grew 18 plants under a 600w hps, three hermied half way through flower from being revegged so they got scrapped, I yielded close to a pound from the 15 remaining plants. Each plant yielded on average a little more than an oz (a couple of them yielded more and a few a little less) and was only about 2ft tall max a couple were only a bit taller, so every bud including the lower buds were very close to as dense as the top.

If you have to you can go back a few pages and look at the pictures.

Oh and one more thing....HER name is GANJAGODESS.... (not saying Im ass kissing but I wouldnt mind kissing her ass)
