Help with autos?

I have 2 auto cheese seeds going right now. I have never grown autos before. Is there anything I should be doing differently than normal photo seeds?

I have them in 5 gallon buckets of happy frog. I'm not going to top them.

Any pointers or tips?

Go easy on the nutes and let them do their thing. I screwed up and stunted mine by transplanting outdoors.. but then again this is my first run of auto's. Lesson learned.

For me the trick is to get them growing fast. It takes about 2 weeks for them to be able too. Use a good soil with apx 30% perlite. I used to use Happy Frog but now like Verdi-Fire I think the name is now.Do not be afraid to water them. After that second week once the soil is dry a little over a inch water again. I only use 1 and 2 gal smart pots. I start nutes at 2 weeks. 1/4 strength. I do organic so it takes a bit to get the ferts working. Keep pots warm dont let them get cold on a floor. I have three I started 2 weeks ago and are about 3-4 inches tall. If all goes good and you get them growing fast you can get good size plants. If I do it right I end up with 36-46 inch plants. I wont even mention yields because people do not believe me. My Royal Queen Auto AK-47s grow top colas bigger then 40 oz beer cans. I have had best results with HO T-5. Run a 8 tube on top and a 4 tube on each side. Always bubble your water. Keep PH in the 6-7 range. But like I said the main thing is to get them started fast. Do not believe the time to finish from breeder. I have only had one strain finish close to when they said it would. Keep them warm. I do the best with a low temp of 75 and a high temp in the 90 range. Do not follow the rule of waiting for leaves to fall off and then they are done. I have had autos go over 120 days and never loose a leaf. A lot to tell but in a lot of ways I like them. Show us how you do.

Da man what auto should I get I'm a all around noob.
I don't know. Depends on what you know. I keep telling myself they are just a weed and they need no help. I guess that is true but you can make that weed a good one. The easies I have grow nd are hardy and tough are probably a Paki Kush Ryder or a Syrup. Both will kick you butt. After 2 years of messing with them on and off I am just now getting the harvest time down. These are weird little plants. I usually run plants longer them most. and trics dont always tell the story in autos. Those two are not as big as others but are a nice smoke. Good Luck.

Don't transplant don't top don't over nute once you got that just water/nute when needed and let.her do her thing start with a weak dose and move up slowly You don't wanna shock autos as they only have to long to produce any stress cause will effect the yield and quality

Mine where bag seeds way before I knew anything about the varieties of this plant since it's my first grow. The vendor was willing to pay for any beans found of course never gave them back but popped. I think I have three auto's am excited because of short grow in Vt. I also have 4 new plants to set out. The four are not auto!!!. I topped the ones I think are auto's) once and don't want to reveg by topping them again I think they are getting ready to flower in probably a few weeks. Wish I had a camera but am a gardner so I think they are getting ready to flower!:leaf:
