list of good grow lights

im loking into getting some new grow lights what is the best in hps mh and led price is not a factor all post will be welcome i have seen a few diff ones like at 600 w led just wanna do some research be4 i buy ill be doing 12 plants each time

If price is no factor I'd go LED. Low heat, Low cost to power and seen some very impressive grows with them.

Go on eBay and look for BlackStar ION8 UVB expensive but worth+ you can modify the light spec and even easily replace broken sections

plasma lights ?

Plasma unless it's sulphur plasma which I'm sure no one here runs is meant as supplemental lighting. Gavita even recommends using the LEP with 1000 hps.

i like these guys for the lens system and what they offer

Plasma
are u fricken nutz super heated gas for light over plants that yeild mad amount of money .........the lose of crop and most likey the lost of all equipment and jail time if something happends .........atleast with a hid if it falls only one plant is hurt and maybe a bulb but plasma that is a all in one unit somthing goes bad u got to replace the whole thing

Let's start with 12 plants

The average mature plant has ~ 2 x 2 foot print

Height depends on strain

So unless you are using SOG method you will need a large space which will require quite a few lights

BML SPYDR 600 covers 4 x 4 uniformly

I am getting amazing results with it

Standard hps lamp IMO you can't go wrong with SYLVANIA GROLUX hps.

As for digi hps lamps such as DIGILUX, EYE HORTILUX etc you can't get them in the UK which also makes me wonder why?

Anything other than HID I'm useless.

PHILLIPS GAVITA SERIES are really taking off over here in the UK many growers opting for them.
