Okay in Canada, the only approved medical usage, or at least what you can buy legally, is the dried weed, not tinctures or edibles, etc...
You are not legally allowed to share your prescription with anyone.
I believe that, even to carry marijuana legally, it has to be in the container that it came from the lp in, at least that is my understanding.
Having said that, if you took your mj out of your container and put it in your friend's container, and they put theirs in yours, no one would know, would they? This is what I am thinking, anyways, I have been wondering about this because I may still have some illegal stash when my legal medical mj gets here, but I figure if I am going out of my house with it, I'll just stash it in whatever containers the new stuff gets here in.
I also doubt that it's illegal to make edibles with your legal mj. You can't buy it in that format, legally, within Canada, however, and you aren't allowed to share it, legally.
If you gave some edibles you made to a friend who had their own prescription I don't see how anyone could know whose mj was in the edibles.
