So if you have the ona scent masker nearby, bud will smell like it. Put the ona gel in another buffer area altogether or don't use it.

I dunno, but it sure will increase heat! Dehumidifier.

I'm having similar problems, I've upgraded to a new, Phresh filter, but it still stinks on the exhaust. I'm exhausting into a chimney but I still worry about it seeping through into the neighbours or coming out the chimney then settling to ground level and making a smell outdoors.

I got hold of a friend's dehumidifier but the increase in heat is waaaay too much. Does anyone have experience of using those dehumidifying gel crystal tubs in a grow room?

im venting out of a roof vent thats alls i have no chimney exept a flu but dont fancy cutting into that.. What i did do today tho was made a paste out of washing powder and clothes conditioner and painted it into any cracks on the wall to next door and put a wicks air freshner facing the wall that automaticly goes off every 9 mins will see how that goes while i sort some coin for another carbon filter

From my experience, ona gel will just about mask the smell of a handful of buds left out on a table, but it will do absolute diddly squat for a full grow. Unless you were to build a wall out of them surrounding the grow.

You can also refill your existing scrubber with new carbon. Simple enough to do if you know how to use a drill.

It is attached to a carbon filter but its a couple year old will a new carbon sort my problem and that gel looks good aswel ill grab some of that.. 3 week in and stinking ill be fucked at 9 week

Yeh roughly change your carbon filter every 6 months that will sort your problem

If you've bought even a worthwhile filter, there should be absolutely no need to change it every six months. Heck, i bought the cheapest one i could find, and grew one of the smellier strains there is, and for 3 years that filter did it's job wonderfully.

Some do last long deepening on the extractor fan, heat, humidity etc... Loads of variables I'd rather change it then had a leak

Guys i made a schoolboy error i put the extractor on 12/12 shes on 24/7 now with a couple smellies in the room all seems well fingers crossed for the next 5 week lol

From my experience they stink more when lights out that plus no extraction when lights out = shitstorm

What do you mean? Get a roll of plastic and fix it to the wall?

Get some 6 mil plastic found at a hardware store. Seal up the the whole room. That way you can direct 100% of the air through the carbon scrubber.

Otherwise buy a grow tent.

this one snapped so i had to tie her up she isnt the biggest in the room but nice enough to take a pic for you lot who are intrested. blue cheese has been good strain for me nice and easy with big buds at th end... 5 days before harvest
