I got the freebies..they were 5 mad x afghan...I planted 2 when I started my 2 biggest ones..but one didn't sprout and the other one had trouble losing its shell for like 2 weeks so I killed them both...

Congrats on the seeds!!! Yeah the NL seeds were tiny but don't let the small size fool ya... they grow fast... My big bud seeds were pretty big also. Here are pics from seedling to 3 weeks old of my biggest NL plant.

w0bi and crackbaby thanks, much appreciated. I got some new toys today after work. 400w MH and 400w HPS HO.
I had to take some of the cfl's down becasue it got up to 90F + with the door closed
I got the 400w MH going now... also got a 8" can fan and cool tube for the bulbs..
temps with door open and multiple fans going avg 75F
with the door closed and all the CFL's on temps got over 90F just the 400w MH going its about 80 - 85F with door closed...which I can live with. Hopefully 3 more weeks...let that bubblegum catch up a little and I am tossing these bitches in flower 12/12.. Next time I will spend the extra cash for fem seeds...It is well worth it in the long run..

Thx bro, Speaking of work. This is hard work...lol But it's like a part-time job that I enjoy.
Problems so far:
1.Gnats not many just a few (little bastards) I re-potted again and put sand over the top-soil. This has helped so far. I don't know how watering will be with the sand over the top but we will see.
2.SPACE. After re-potting space is now a BIG issue. I may have to start flowering just to get rid of the males and focus on the girls. Problem, The 3 bubblegum are not ready only like 2 weeks old if that. Don't have enough space to repot them anyways. Hopefully I can get at least some good samples from each and find out which is the best and start all my seedlings out at the same time next grow. Yield is not a priority..I will sacrifice yield for quality..
3.Smell. This is really not a big issue right now, only when the fan blows or shake them around a lot... but I can imagine when they start to flower..it is going to be bad.
Tell me what you guys are thinking.. If it wasn't for you guys at RIU this would not have been possible.. again much appreciated

i would say a carbon scrubber for smell, but it looks like your cramped for space as it is.... where does your ventilation lead? u may be able to hook the scrubber up wherever that is????

Thx bro, Yeah I should have a little bit more space once I get rid of the males..which will be soon...cause I just set the timer for 12/12 and put the 400HPS in
. I siad fuck it, If the one big one is a girl, I will be happy..If not..I will have a ton more space...lol LIGHTS OUT at 9PM TONIGHT reefcouple

hey gaines will tonight be the 1st night on 12/12? if so, put the lights out for 24hrs the 1st day... this will induce flowering...... its not necessary but it does speed the bloom along.. just an idea for ya...

Wow Lookin good your BIG BUD plant looks alot like my Burmese Sativa with the fat Leaves mine are not looking near as good as your but only on 3 weeks from start of germination today. So We will see I am tryin to figure out if i have NUTE burn or my PH is screwed up we will see after a couple days if its too much nutes then i will flush.

Nice grow you got going man! How many fuckin CFL's were you using LOL! CFL's are the shit I'm gonna be using a tight ass CFL setup in rubbermaid with mad LST action hoping to pull a couple zips out of it. I have heard that speedy growth sometimes means male plant but I have never grown b4 so I have no idea. Anyways good luck with your grow and those 400watters will do you wonders! Just have some carbon scrubbers or your whole house will smell from what i've read! I noticed that your BigBuds are smaller and not as close to the light. You may wanna put some phone books or something under them to get them closer. More even light distribution you know?
