This is my first grow. I look at the pistils and there are only some white ones and many of them are brown. I checked the trichomes and I see that a lot of them are cloudy. I was only really able to see the stalk of one trichome with some of the amber color. WTF is wrong with my plant or am I just paranoid.

Your just paranoid .don't worry about the hairs it will grow more. looks farther along than a month but looks good. that strain might take up to 90 days.

Fox tailing can be genetic it also can be caused from excessive heat. hairs can dry up from the heat also. what are your temps and do you have a fan blowing on them?

I had a problem with heat for a while, its down in the mid 70s now. And no, I know how to mix my nutes.
and I had cut them off.
Thanks its probably the heat problem and this maui waui is a 9-10 week strain.

Some people like to enjoy life by having some harmless jokes. If that makes them an asshole, I guess they're an asshole, but they probably have a more enjoyable life by being so :-)

And all burn aside, that's some good growth for just 4 weeks of flowering.
Thats what I was thinking for a noob to jump into dwc and pull good weight is pretty awesome.

One thing you might want to look into is keeping your ph from swinging that could be a major issue

Your buds look great, but there is no way to tell from the hairs if they r ready, u need to view the actual trichromes. It is personal preference but some people prefer to chop at the first sign of amber trichromes (not hairs) others wait until there are 50%+ amber, there is no right answer. Get a scope and look at your best top nugs, when they r starting to turn amber you are very close.

after looking closer at your pictures they can def be left to go a few more weeks imo, just make sure your humidity is less than 50% u cant hurt them by letting more trichromes go amber, just makes the herb a little more sedative. Id chop when they r like half amber cuz it looks like they have ripened faster than u want (still bulking)

I like to keep my pH between 5.2-5.8. I usually have to adjust it every other day is that good ? If not how can I keep it stable.
5.8 is good you can let it rise to 6.3 and then just adjust and cange out your bucket every week.
