Its been 7 days and my seed is just growing roots. Gravity has started to pull down and the root is descending and soon it will start branching off and spread throughout the soil. Is this natural for it to be 7 days old and do this or is it sapposed to sprout outwards and show above the soil by now? I use no nutrients, just Good ol bagged soil that u normally get from markets and what not, and good ol water and sunshine by the windowsill.

There should be no roots showing above the soil AT ALL! the sun will fry n kill the roots in no time...the roots should just be spreading DOWN and of course be 'branching out' but going down at the same time...

Did you germinate your seed or just toss it in the ground? If I was you I would make sure to germinate my next seed, then when you are putting it in soil make a little hole for the germinated seed, place it tap root down with the seed shell just slightly below the surface of the dirt then lightly cover it up, use a tiny tiny amount of water or none if using moist soil and place it by whatever lights you are using.
