That is.....had to check the spreadsheet....Atomic Northern Lights. I will look at a sample this afternoon with the USB microscope. The pair is ready for harvest. If not today, then soon and forever.

And I'm back. :) Chicago is....windy.

No/yes. Of course. All you have to do is exhaust the heat. Figure out, like NASA does, how to eject heat from the enclosure.

I have one in my bathroom. It is in virtual window, and the back is in an insulated box I made out of construction foam board and tape/nailed together.

It is the virtual outside for the back and the hot exchanger back there.

That box has a suction fan on top and that runs the heat out through a 6 inch exhaust pipe.

I prefer museums over Churches.

I went to the Field Museum of Natural History and to the Alder Planetarium.

Your plants are gorgeous...

Oh wait, this is politics....

That looks like a liberal plant!!! KILL IT!!!

Schuylaar has got mold all over the tops of her rockwool cubes.
Its algae, easily remedied with aluminum foil over the cube.

Try not to cry too much at the grows I am capable of.

How many pounds do you think my setup will get?

45 Watt Incandescent.

Lookin good so far. I think I might get a candle for extra poundage and for the CO2.

I stacked some books and boxes up to get closer to the light, this is week 4.

A small air conditioner without an exhaust will increase the heat, not decrease it.

Air conditioners transfer heat energy, they do not eliminate it. The friction of the compressor and other moving parts create heat as well.

So no... It wont keep the heat down.

nope, you'll need exhaust.

if the rest of the unit is climate controlled, you can pump some off the cool air into your space, either passively or even forced, if you create enough negative pressure from an exhaust system pulling old, hot air out of your space. that depends on a pretty good fan though, which you'll likely want to dampen the sound of based on where you're living now.

hit me up sometime and i'll take a look at the space.
